"I'm a fan of vegetarian Indian food so was thrilled to read about this place on Happycow. Here's my Santa Monica Samosa House review. It's brand new and one can feel the excitement in the air from both the staff and the curious diners trickling in throughout the day. Since it opened last week I've eaten here 3 times already. A steam table displays the prepared dishes that you could get for your combo plate (rice 3 dishes). There's also a menu on the back wall for extras. You have to ask which dishes are vegan, as they are not labeled. Samosa House uses dairy in the curries and naan. The malasa dosa is quite spicy, more than expected. Fyi. From the prepared dishes I get the jackfruit, charcoal cauliflower, and the soup. The samosas are good when they are hot. Once you take them home it's not the same."
