"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"My friend, Laura, hosted my birthday dinner at this new restaurant last week and we had a great time. – Thank you, Tom Sietsema! The pani poori was good — although I preferred it without the cumin water. Watch out – these one-bite appetizers are rather large! The tandoori chicken was excellent, as was the nan flecked with rock salt and cilantro. By the way, the outstanding raita comes in very handy! The parking situation is not great, but the restaurant is very homey and inviting, the prices are outstanding (two people dined for less than $40), and the staff are exceedingly attentive, knowledgable and helpful. Enjoy!"

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"Not sure what Chicken tikka masala everyone else orders but there is no way it is a 5 star dish.Sauce is no creamy, the Chicken is just terrible. Overcooked and we even got a join in our piece. Plus all of the pieces are rubbery and hard which means the meat is just disgusting.I struggle to even give it one star, so gross and i was not wanting to pay for such terrible food.Bombay house at Jordan landing is much better and actually tastes amazing.Never and I repeat never come here. Old and ran down building and the food is so gross."

"I absolutely love Kitchen Sunnyside for Marin Doordash! It is one of my favorite places to order from regularly. The quality is consistently top-notch, with a creative kitchen using the freshest ingredients. Some of my favorite dishes include their delicious quesadilla with bacon, overflowing avocado toast, Athenian scramble, avocado salad with a variety of ingredients, and citron french toast. I appreciate being able to order breakfast items for dinner as well. I feel fortunate to have Kitchen Sunnyside as a dependable option for my meals, and I am already looking forward to my next order very soon!"

"Great food and good portion sizes. The restaurant is a bit upscale and the prices reflect it. However, they're always giving out coupons and deals so you'll save plenty of money if you're a regular customer. I've never been disappointing with Rasoi food, instead I found a lot of new and different choices at Rasoi and loved it. Usually I stick with Sagg, but I tried a biryani's, mushroom, and pea dish and was very happy with it. The drinks were delicious, I had a peach sangria and it was tasty. They also have a great lunch combination menu; you can choose between two different offerings of a variety of dishes. They come in small bowls surrounding a large heap of rice (or naan).  Our server was so sweet. She was on top of our larger party making sure we had drinks and water and was just super nice. "This is my first time writing a review for any service. I want to take the time to say this place is horrible because of the owner nitin. This used to be our go to restaurant up until a year ago on our anniversary June 15th. We even had our baby shower party at this restaurant. Last year we ordered takeout food for our anniversary dinner and they forgot about our order and when my dad got there our food was not ready. My dad waited for 38 mins and they sent us home with uncooked paneer and all dishes were made in a hurry so was missing masalas and did not taste as usual. When we called nitin he was so rude and did not even care to make it up to us instead he spent 45 mins arguing with us calling us liars and said that his chefs never make a mistake. Customer service is really bad and nitin is extremely unprofessional and money hungry. He does not care if you are a loyal customer or a new customer he is not looking to make his customers happy. Since last year we have been ordering from samudrha and moghul express twice a week and have been especially impressed with samudhra's excellent service. Both samudhra and moghul express have excellent food as well and they are close to spice rack."

"This has to be the best place that I have had Indian food in a long time. We came for the buffet and my wife ate something from each tray and loved them all. I ate two full plates and was so stuffed by the end. Guy said lunch is buffet and dinner is menu. Was also told that the buffet does change what goes out each day. Definitely will be returning again, probably for dinner to pick out some of our favorites to try."

"Chaska is a comfortably lit, quiet restaurant where the owner pays attention to every detail of the food and overall experience. After a strenuous workout, I decided to treat myself and satisfy my hunger by randomly choosing Chaska. I ordered the Chaska meat platter, one of the pricier items on the menu at around $21. The platter consisted of well-seasoned and perfectly cooked chicken, fish, shrimp, and kebob. They substituted the shrimp for lamb, which they had run out of, but everything was delicious. The bathroom was spacious and clean—a rare find—which nicely complemented the enjoyable meal. The restaurant has ample space for several parties, allowing for social distancing, so I felt comfortable removing my mask. There are plenty of other dishes on the menu, and I’m likely to return to try more of their cuisine."

"I have to be honest. This place used to be good for four years. However, the chefs change frequently and the food varies each time we visit. It has now become excessively expensive, with our bill averaging around $80. I recently discovered that I paid full price for snacks and appetizers. If your bill totals more than $50, it is wise to go to a genuine Indian restaurant where you will receive good food, service, and better value. It is preferable to spend your money there rather than here. I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"It was a near-3-star experience with the service 3*, food 3*, ambience 2*. The trip to Henrico (13 miles) and the locations (several miles on a busy strip) might slow down an eager diner staying in the city. "The food was not fresh at all. I ordered for pickup right after they opened at 5 PM, and it looked like it had been microwaved. It definitely seemed like leftovers from the night before. Even the rice was clumpy and had a slightly stale smell. I called to inquire about it, and the woman on the phone assured me that everything is made fresh. There's no way that's true; I know what old food looks like, and this was not fresh at all."

"My favourite Indian in the area. This time, I said for the price difference, may as well come for dinner. As I have said, I drive forty minutes each way because I have loved it so much. But after finding and loving this place for over four years, itends tonight. The food is always very good. I consider it the best Indian in the DMV area. But first lunch went up in price,and tonight I decided to treat myself to dinner, as for the price difference it seemed best to enjoy the larger dinner portionsfor a little more money. The waitress was pushy and kept trying to rush our dinner and asking no sooner than the samosasarrived if we were ready to order the main dish. I told her we would order after we finished appetizers and we were out to enjoyour company, not go to a McDonalds and order, eat, and run. Then the food came. Portions have shrunk. Lamb Vindaloo had at mostsix LITTLE pieces of lamb and ONE small little round piece of potato for a DINNER PORTION??? WHAT??? The rice seemed a verysmall portion too. Barely halfway way up the serving dish. Half way through our meal a lovely and sweet Indian couple came in.The ordered alcohol which we did not as we don't drink alcohol. We exchanged pleasantries with them as they seemed veryadorable. When their meal came out they were two just like us, but no meat entree as they might be vegetarian like mycompanion tonight I saw they ordered a Briyani, and another bowl with Basmati rice. However I couldn't help but notice howtheir rice was heaping and a very generous portion. Twice what we got for two. Having order Dal Makhani and Lamb Vindaloo. Ihave drive for forty minutes each way as it was always a place I felt treated like a king. Fair prices and a lot of food. Buttonight the love affair is over. I could always count on ordering an entree at dinner and having enough to take home for thenext day. Even when sharing!!! Tonight's Lamb Vindaloo, was delicious yes, but very meager portion. "So my wife and I have held here after they have appeared in the app as close. we both love Indian food. we both agree that from all the places we have eaten worldwide, this was some of the best. the menu offers a nice selection of vegetarian dresses and when they were asked to make them vegan, they liked to. the service was fast and friendly. but eating is what it was about. there was no oil build-up found on some. the aromes were fresh and explosive. I recommend the garlic and chili naan when they are looking for something heat. I can't think of a thing that put me down and the price was more than reasonable. I will make this a regular stop when I have to drive out of the desert to go to the VA hospital."

"After seating we were given with sauces and what I think was papdum as it was thin like a cracker. They have a large selection of dishes, but we decided to order a Chef's specialty called Special Dinner. This dish is a mix of different foods which we found to be quite tasty and one I would highly recommend along with another called Tandoori Mixed Grill. Both include Tandoori chicken, seekh kabab,Basmati Rice Nan. But each include other different dishes No reason to drive to a former preferred Indian restaurant in Chicago when this one is close The service was kind of slow and should be more attentive. But when served they were very courteous. They courteously bagged our left overs which was a treat at home."

"Food was excellent. The elections were great. Had the Tandoori Combo, aloo tikki, lamb poured. Chana sagwala, naan,roti and puri. Everything was great except the fact that the AC didn't work and was asked that it was broken all summer. That's the only reason I took a star away. Call them and ask if it's repaired when you land in the summer. If not only order, go or get it delivered. So far our favorite restaurant Desi in Suffolk County. Update: Winterbuffet was excellent. Innertemp was at 66, which is good. Loved the blood and the curry chicken here. Naan bread is kind of strange here, it comes with buffet, but if you go for a la carte order Roti instead."
