"The staff at Mantra were incredibly helpful and friendly, easily earning 5 stars. They offer a midday buffet for just $10, with plenty of vegetarian options. However, many authentic South Indian dishes use ghee, so most vegetarian dishes are not vegan. At the buffet, I enjoyed the dal, basmati rice, and potato fritters. There was also a small salad with sweet and Indian sauces featuring tamarind and coriander. As an Indian, I expected the use of ghee in many dishes, which was a bit frustrating for those seeking vegan options. Beyond the buffet, the menu itself includes several vegan dishes—about five—just ask which ones are suitable. Overall, the food was delicious!"

"Sadly, this was such a poor dining experience. Granted, it's hard to find amazing Indian food in Boston, but this was really bad. We ordered the vegetarian thali for 2, and they forgot to include the naan and the samosas, and instead of ginger ice cream they included a strange artificial-tasting ice cream. The mango lassi was so sweet I honestly could not drink it. For $45+, the meal was terrible. I hate leaving bad reviews, since I want to support local businesses, but we honestly felt so shocked by this experience and want no one else to waste their money and be as disappointed as we were."

"Horrible oily food and Rude Staff! Being an Indian I can tell you how bad the food is I could taste the substandard spices used and the old oil. The quantities are also very small of the curries. They give priorities to DoorDash and take-out orders. Food is served late and cold to on-premise customers. When we gave feedback to the staff they started arguing with us instead. Do Not Recommend this place to any one. Service: Dine in"

"This is the best Indian restaurant in Binghamton! Every time I eat here, the food is absolutely delicious. You must try the chicken mandras; it’s so good! The naan bread is also amazing. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, and I can’t wait to go back. The bar is lovely, and the bartender, Lina, is fantastic. The food is the best, and the service is excellent. I really love Lina!"

"This was our favorite Indian restaurant 20 years ago. We hadn't been in a long time since we had moved to another part of the city. We moved back to this area and thought it would be fun to go back there. Never again. We waited an hour for our food which was simply awful!!! The naan fell apart and the insides looked like cat food, really! My Chicken Vindaloo was the worst that I have ever had and my husband's shrimp was burnt to the point that it tasted like nothing. He never came to check on us and when I asked for a second cup of tea, he charged me for it!!! I had waited almost fifteen minutes to get it and we were done eating and waiting for the bill. No chutneys were given with the naan. If this was my first Indian food experience, I would never eat it again. Go to Taj Mahal in Hales Corners if you want good Indian food with great service. Avoid this place. And there was a fly trap on one light fixture and some sort of food drippings next to me on the wall. Just gross!!!"

"Some of the best Indian food in Bushwick! The samosas, in particular, are a stand out. Well-seasoned with a crispy crust that wasn’t too thick. Impressive since it was probably sitting for a minute during delivery. The mango lassi was slightly pricier than other places, but worth it as a nice treat. It was a good balance of mango flavor and neither too sweet or tart. The entrees were solid too, though just shy of great. The palak paneer was super creamy but the paneer was a bit bland. The chicken tikka masala was tasty but the chicken was a bit dry and the sauce, while sweet and tangy, lacked earthiness and depth. For around $30 each, a solid combo with plenty of leftovers. Would not travel out of my way to come here but would recommend if you’re craving Indian food and live in the area."

"This is one of the best Desi Chinese restaurant in DFW. We absolutely love their food. They have lots of amazing dishes with a great taste like you are discovering delicious dishes. We had the sizzling chicken karahi with desi spicy fried rice which were fantastic. We recommend their grilled protein dishes with fried rice which is a great combination. We definitely recommend this place if you are into desi Chinese food. This place also gave a bar inside the restaurant. We definitely would be back again. Vegetarian options: There is a large vegetarian menu with lots of vegetarian dishes available. Parking: There is a huge free parking lot."

"Great people, amazing food. This is my go to restaurant because it’s close to where I live and they make the best Indian food for a decent price. I can talk with the people and treat them as friends, have a good laugh and just overall make great conversation. The food and the hot sauce, truly tastes amazing since they make from scratch. They will always have my business."

"Have been getting takeout since moving nearby and just went to sit in last night. Happy to find it even better in person! Everything has been excellent, okra, eggplant, classic chicken tikka masala. The naan is fresh and fabulous. My only comment is the fried appetizers are a tad salty (samosa, pakora . But the samosa chaat at the restaurant and the papadum was fabulous. (And the sauces are great too! Update : It’s been a year and we have been regularly coming, everything is amazing!! Highly recommend."

"Fantastic Indian food! We ordered the Bread basket which came with an assortment of 4 Naan breads (Garlic, Sweet, Aloo Paratha, and Onion Kulcha). All were great but the Sweet Naan was amazing. I really liked the Everest Curry with Lamb. It was great flavor and had big portions of meat. We also tried the Navaratna Korma which was a great vegetarian option with a creamy sauce and nuts. The staff was quite pleasant and helpful and the dining area was nice. Highly recommended!"

"This has to be the best place that I have had Indian food in a long time. We came for the buffet and my wife ate something from each tray and loved them all. I ate two full plates and was so stuffed by the end. Guy said lunch is buffet and dinner is menu. Was also told that the buffet does change what goes out each day. Definitely will be returning again, probably for dinner to pick out some of our favorites to try."

"We stopped to eat on our way back from San Francisco, and I have to say, it was a great experience. To start with the highlight, this is perhaps the only Indian restaurant I know that offers complimentary chai (Indian tea with milk), and it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered chole bhatura (fried Indian bread served with chickpeas), and it was excellent. We also tried pav bhaji (bread served with a spicy Indian vegetable curry), which was decent. Overall, I would rate this place 5 out of 5 because the staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the service was impressively fast–only 15 minutes!"

"My wife and I decided to try this restaurant tonight (10/9/20). Although we tried Peerce 's and thought was excellent, we wanted to try something closer. Royal Kitchen serves Indian/nepali food and everything we can say is WOW! Very good. Since we don't know about Indian food, we ordered all the mild instead of hot or extra hot. Mild was just... really perfect. We can only talk about what we shared, although their menu was quite extensive. Appetizer.... Vegetable samosa....2 pieces of which we had served 1 each with a selection of 3 sauces. DELICIOUS! Then we shared an order of Shrimp Korma with Basmati rice. It was so good that we took the left over the sauce home. We had also filled Kashmiri Naan (a bread) with raisins, almonds, coconut and pistachios. We saved two pieces for tomorrow. DELICIOUS. Not to recognize our limited eating functions, we also ordered the Tandoori Mixed Grill, which tasted tasty, but we were already full so that we were home for tomorrow. The service was excellent. Our waitress. Shanta, was excellent. She also works at ULTA on Goucher Blvd. Our opinion is that this place is worth a try. I know we're back."

"This is one of those places where you call them a hidden gem. My very first time here and it won't be last. My husband used to come here all the time and this is my first time. we came with friends and we enjoyed a really delicious dinner, outstanding service, amazing ambiance, very laid back, clean bathroom. They brought us sambosas For each couple on the house. They also brought the vegetarian kabobs if I'm not mistaken. It's definitely hidden and it's like on the second floor of a building but it's so worth a try we had multiple dishes from vegetarian to chicken dishes and they were all absolute delicious. My favorite was the butter chicken. My husband had the karahi chicken, which was really good too. Our friends had their vegetarian dishes from the eggplant to the spinach do any other ones, and they were all absolute licious. We had the tea which was OK. In my opinion I've had better but the rice pudding had an odd taste. The mango dessert was really good. Overall it was amazing and I will return here!"

"My friends and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday after a hike near Lake Tahoe. They were offering a buffet at the time. When I inquired about vegan options, a staff member kindly walked me through each dish that was vegan and even consulted with the chef for some he was unsure about. I was really impressed by his attention to detail! The majority of the dishes were delicious, with the samosas standing out as a highlight. The crust was perfectly flaky, not too hard, and the fillings were incredibly flavorful. Since it was a buffet, I ended up having about 5 samosas. The only downside was the roasted okra, which seemed to be overdone. Towards the end of our meal, the chef came out personally to speak with us and gather our feedback on the food. It turns out she runs the restaurant with her husband, who also works as a waiter. We had a fantastic conversation, and I made sure to mention the issue with the okra. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would love to visit again next time we're in the Tahoe area."

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"An amazing quiet place for Sunday family brunch. The best part here was that in the buffet there were ample vegetarian choice and the vegetarian Buffett was set up separately from the non vegetarian option. The dal tadka and the onion fritters were done right and the ambience was beautiful. This restaurant is situated near the sugarloaf parkway and you also have the great views during fall. Service: Dine in"
