"I’m not sure I’ll return. The sight of birds flying inside a restaurant is genuinely unsettling to me. While it might capture the beach vibe, is it really necessary in December? I did appreciate the menu descriptions and the warm tropical feelings they inspired—who wouldn’t want a culinary journey to St. Barts? I chose the burrito bowl, hoping for fresh greens and grilled fish reminiscent of island cuisine. Unfortunately, what I received looked more like a deconstructed wrap with small pieces of overcooked fish and an excessively dressed chopped salad. My partner ordered sliders that were piled high with glazed pork belly and pineapple. They were visually appealing, but honestly, they were so large that taking a bite was nearly impossible. I’m all for getting a little messy with your food, but having to press it down with my palm just to take a bite felt too excessive. We ended up bringing them home. Overall, the ambiance is vibrant and fun, with a spacious layout that suggests a lively atmosphere in better weather. Perhaps it was the lunch hour, the season, or even some lingering effects of COVID, but this visit just didn’t quite hit the mark."
