"A few days later, I returned to try the Chicago dog at Portillo's. It was the only place on my list of top Chicago dog spots that I could easily reach without a car or a long commute on public transportation. Following my friend's advice, I also ordered the cheese fries and chocolate cake. The staff at the pick-up area were incredibly friendly, and there was a lady who had been working there for over 20 years, efficiently calling out order numbers and engaging with customers. I hope to visit Chicago again soon, and Portillo's will definitely be one of my first stops in the city!"
