"Edit: Updated after today's visit! I absolutely love this place! I used to frequent the one in Downtown LA on 7th and Flower, but I haven’t been there since the pandemic. Then I discovered this location, which is less than a mile from my house! I've randomly visited this place three times in the past couple of months, and I couldn't be happier with it! Not only is the food fresh and delicious, but the service is always outstanding. The woman at the front was incredibly kind, and I even showed her a trick for using chopsticks! It’s wonderful to see people enjoying their jobs and interacting with customers—I really appreciated the human connection!
I wish I could give La Marque 10 stars! I visited during a quieter time of day, so not only did he take my order, but after washing his hands and putting on gloves, he prepared my food himself! The restaurant was very clean, and I felt safe eating here after witnessing La Marque’s commitment to COVID-19 safety and food service. As for the food, I ordered a tofu plate with avocado and brown rice, and it was absolutely perfect!"
