"We had a fantastic meal! We started with Kibbeh and Baba Ghanoush, and for the main course, we enjoyed a chicken and turkey rice bowl, a sandwich, and some flatbread. Everything was accompanied by large, fluffy pitas served with a delicious garlic and tahini dip. The owner was incredibly helpful and patient with my indecisive family! I even noticed him bringing a bowl of water for a dog outside. The Shawarma was perfectly seasoned, not overly salty like I’ve experienced before. The rice was light and fluffy, and the Baba Ghanoush had a wonderful smoky flavor. The pitas were soft and perfect for creating the ideal garlic, rice, and chicken dish. We can't wait to return to Rockville and visit you again soon!"

"For years this has been one of our absolute favorite chains where we eat. I prefer the Taverna style to the full-fledged restaurant as they serve very generous platings of our favorite dives, Shima and fresh hot bread. It also serves delicious sandwiches, soup and salad. We're ready to drive an hour to eat here and just want them to take one to our area."

"The food at this restaurant was fresh and delicious, featuring a variety of tasty and healthy options. I definitely plan to return! We ordered a platter that allowed us to sample different items. My lentil and spinach soup, enhanced with potato chunks and a hint of lemon, was fantastic! I also enjoyed the fresh, perfectly baked pita bread and the small containers of sauces, especially the garlic sauce and hummus. The prices were reasonable, and the meals were served at the table. "The staff member at the counter was less than friendly, and the platter I was served left much to be desired. The flavors were peculiar—not in a pleasant way—and there was barely any meat despite the $32 price tag. The salad was soggy, and the restaurant's harsh lighting made it feel more like a hospital than a dining establishment. I'm not sure what has happened to Lebanese Taverna or why they opted for the name change to something as offbeat as Lebtav, but I certainly won't be going back."
