"I often go there for coffee, usually alone, to enjoy some peaceful me-time. But it’s also fantastic for lunch; their avocado salad is a personal favorite. While the food prices can be a bit steep for those of us without trust funds or high-paying jobs, the quality makes it worthwhile, especially when compared to places like Whole Foods. It offers a lovely old-school NYC vibe (back when the skyline wasn’t dominated by those towering new buildings) and is a real treat for your palate.
As for their coffee, I'm quite particular about my brews, and I’ve always been satisfied with what I get at Bonsignour. The only other places in Manhattan I opt for brewed coffee, when I want to indulge, are La Colombe and 787 Coffee. Otherwise, I usually grab a quicker cup from the deli coffee carts near USQ that are just more convenient. I occasionally visit Devoción on 20th Street or Grumpy’s in the Lower East Side too.
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!
