"OpenTable takes you to the wrong location! So once we actually found the restaurant which is off of Main Street in Oxford. From what I understand Open table is directing you to their partner restaurant. So I would verify their location prior to using the get directions link on OpenTable. This restaurant is located within a small motel in Oxford Ohio. I found the ambiance to be quite lovely. Our appetizer of stuffed mushrooms was just okay. While the appetizer was quite large the mushrooms were not done. The Gorgon and The Berry salad was outstanding! We both had the prime rib special. Which they do not ask how you want it cooked so you are going to get it medium rare. The meat was cool to the touch so we ended up sending it back. But the prime rib itself was very tender. And nice sized. My husband had the crotchet family pudding which he thought was just okay but he's very picky. I had the lemon icebox cake and it was quite light and just right after a big meal."

"What a terrific night out with friends. Had not been to The Red Lion Pub since Thatcher reigned over the land (maybe exaggerating, maybe). What a beautiful space. We sipped and dined in The Great War Room, fascinating. Apps and dinners were to top notch. Bangers and Mash, Shepard's Pie, and Fish Chips enjoyed by all. Best pour of a Boddington's I have had on these shores. Topping everything off was the most friendly staff you will find. Perfectly attentive and, get this, personalities! I know, hard to believe. Now stop reading this and go in already, you will love it!"
