"We got take out from Banya. Had previously eaten in before and it was good to pretty good in the past.Last weekend it was below average for several reasons:1. We ordered 2 orders of shrimp tempura, but only received 1 1/2. Half of the vegetables and a shrimp was missing in one order. We paid for 2!2. Maki was dry, smaller than last dine-in experience; as well as not very tasty. Salmon skin roll had no salmon and barely any skin. It was 90 rice, the other 5 rolls weren't much better, mostly rice.3. Ordering online you pay a convenience fee, which is fine, but when you pick up your food they force you to tip 15, 20 or 25 on top of this along with the total bill. They not only highlight (with a highlighter) the recommended tip , but physically point to the tip as well with their finger. This makes one feel overwhelmingly obligated to tip more on no service. I am a good tipper (20-25 always, even takeout), but being forced into it for takeout is extremely poor customer service.There are many other sushi places around with far better food and service.I'm taking my money elsewhere. Banya is not recommended."
