"Nice location for a summertime brunch. Large indoor space, as well as a decent outdoor patio area. Plenty of classic American brunch dishes to choose from, and the $25 bottle/mimosa is a great value. Service was subpar, as we weren’t allowed to seat early (by 2 minutes) and then we were rushed out as they said they needed the space for another reservation."

"First let me start by saying I have been to The Aviary numerous times. I have always had great service and food. With that being said…. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation at 7:30 we had to wait about 20 minutes which is totally understandable being a Saturday night. We had drinks at the bar while we waited and I waited to pay the bill while my wife and her sister were taken to the table. When I got the table it was about 7:50. Our server did not come back to the table until 8:15. We ordered our appetizers and dinner at the same time which we never do. It’s a good thing we did. We got our appetizer (calamari) right away which was very good. Our food did not come out until around 8:45. We finished our meals and I had to find our server for our check while I was on my way to the restroom. We received the check at roughly 9:20. This was the only time our server was quick to come back to our table. I know some will say that this is no big deal, but when you see people come in after you and get quick service and eat and leave before you there is a real problem. I will not let this persuade me from not going again, but the management should be aware and hopefully keep a better eye on all of their patrons."

"I have made arrangements for my parents to celebrate their 59th anniversary. I went to the four roses cafe and spoke with waitress and she cared for her like king and queen. they were so happy and enjoyed everything from beginning to end (including dessert). thanks four rose for the care of my parents on this special day. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the duck. my dad said it was excellent!"

"Got the steak and clams. The steak was literally the worst I've ever had, and I've had a lot of steak. Super unfortunate. The clams were good. The service was good too. But I've never wanted to take a steak back more in my life, and they included the gratuity without mentioning, so I had to cross out the larger gratuity I was about to leave, with only a party size of 7, not 8. Great service, horrible food. So that's where the 2 stars comes from. Go to Black and Bleu if you want steak."
