A classic dessert with tender apples, cinnamon, and a buttery crumb topping.

"The restaurant is adorable with a great selection of products. They have a bakery, prepared foods section, and also offer fresh smoothies and juices. I tried the Jamie's Monkey smoothie with added blueberries and was pleasantly surprised to receive some extra leftover in a separate cup. The apple pie and piece of heaven cupcake were absolutely delicious, not overly sweet but perfectly balanced. It was hands-down the best cupcake I've ever had. I haven't sampled the cream cheese brownie yet, but if it's anything like the cupcake, I won't be disappointed."

"This bakery is truly the best, without a doubt. I always get my birthday cakes from here, and I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years. I have never been disappointed!"

"We have dined here 2 or 3 times a year for over 10 years. In the last few years the standard seems to have slopped and the menu is not what it used to be. The location and the ambiance is amazing. The actual food and value for money is not so good. Biggest disappointment tonight was my linguini with clams. Maybe 8 clams in their shells with pasta in melted butter for $33. When I did not eat the pasta and refused a take home box the server did not even ask if it was okay. Totally unimpressed."

"The staff was friendly, the lunch was delicious, and the cakes were outstanding! The bathroom was spotlessly clean. However, parking on the street is metered and quite limited during the weekdays."

"The restaurant experience was excellent, featuring delicious food and attentive service. Unfortunately, the hotel aspect did not meet my expectations. Upon my arrival, I found the toilet seat was broken, and the mattress was in terrible condition—worn out and in urgent need of replacement. Additionally, I ran out of hot water while shaving and, even after the water heated up again, my shower quickly turned cold, leaving me to rinse off in ice-cold water. I certainly will not be staying at the hotel again, but I would gladly return to the bar and restaurant. If I were to rate the overall establishment on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 4-star rating. My two-day stay was less than enjoyable. Rooms: 2, Service: 3, Location: 4. Hotel highlights: Quiet."

"This was my first time eating here. My sister and I flew in from Texas to visit our father. He brought us here to Bob Evan's he said this is his and his wife's favorite place to eat. They eat here all the time. So when they brought us here. There was only two waitresses working at the time. So they were short of staff. The usual waitress who always serves my dad. She had waited on us. But at the time her body language and attitude. I didn't appreciate it. She was rude on how she asked me what I like to drink. I don't tolerate rudeness. It is not my problem that they were under staff. Especially when it was my first time eating there and visiting from out of state. But besides all that. I really did enjoy the food. It was really scrumptious"

"I’ve been here a couple of times. Great little diner, super vintage looking, great speedy service and the food is great diner food. We got lucky since we came in at 11 and there was no line. Usually there is one winding down the street. Note that this place is cash only and takes no reservations. We came in and we were seated in 10 mins as soon as our whole party showed up. The restaurant is cute, has an old school diner vibe and I love the non matching plates and mugs we are given feels like a home or a bnb. Some cool decor as well and they have a little covered outside space as well as the restaurant itself. The food was good very Midwestern feeling diner food. I loved the strudel pancake and the sweet potato waffle They have lots of tables and seat you pretty quickly. Mostly the tables seat about 6 slightly a tight squeeze I’ve tried the pancakes here and recommend the blueberry ricotta. I also liked how they do the pastrami and the crab cakes. I love how they do three little butters strawberry, pumpkin and cinnamon. The wait staff comes to you quickly and brings the food out Quickly as well. They did recommend to us that we were ordering too much food (and we were) so we appreciated that."

"We go to this Bob Evans regularly. At our most recent visit we had the pleasure of having Trish as our server. She is one of the most bubbly, and friendliest people I know. She always gets our order right, she knows what we want before we even ask for it. She's very attentive and treats her customers like family. I wish that all of the places we go to eat would have someone like Trish working there. She's one of she's one of the reasons we keep coming back!"

"I had a piece of each of the vegan carrot cakes and vegan chocolate cakes. the chocolate cake was dirty, but the icing was sweet. the carrot cake was better, icing was good, but, cake could use a little more taste. it was a beautiful effort, although for vegan options."

"Probably the best bakery in town! Good seating area, nice for a coffee and dessert date spot or just hang out with friends! If you don’t have a sweet tooth, would recommend getting one dessert to share between 2 people — it’s too much if you get your own!"

"Martha's Country Bakery is a wonderful bake shop offering an extensive variety of cakes, pastries, and both hot and cold beverages. This is far from your typical coffee shop with a limited selection. Whether you’re in the mood for a latte, organic tea, or a milkshake, they truly have something for everyone. Despite being bustling with customers, we were fortunate to snag a cozy corner table for two. We ordered a breakfast tea with cream, a latte, a slice of chocolate fudge cake, and a serving of pound cake. The portions were generous, and the hot drinks came in large cups. Everything was fresh and delicious—the coffee was perfectly brewed, and the organic tea was excellent. The fudge cake was moist and indulgent. Although it was one of the sweetest cakes I've ever had—a real sugar rush—it was still enjoyable, even if the sweetness was a bit overwhelming for me. The slices also came dusted with powdered sugar, so if you don’t mind a sugary treat, you’ll definitely appreciate this spot. Prices are on the higher side, with a slice of fudge cake costing nearly $10, making it one of the priciest I’ve encountered. Overall, it was a pleasant visit. I’d recommend Martha’s Country Bakery to anyone who loves bakery delights and isn’t shy about indulging in a sweet fix."

"I rate this place 4 out of 5 stars because the desserts are really hit or miss. I would say most desserts are above average, some are out of this world, and the rest are not very good at all. I have been here a few times and this is my first review of the place.Let me start by saying there are a lot of tables inside and it gets very crowded after dinner time. There are not many sit-in dessert places on bell blvd so many people come here. You may be inches away from the next table but the seating is comfortable and turnover is quick. This particular time that I went, I ordered a slice of berry pie with ice cream and a slice of triple chocolate mousse cake. The berry pie had a crumb top which was nice and toasty. The berries gave the pie a nice tart flavor while the crumb topping added a nice textural component. The flavors of the pie complemented the scoop of vanilla ice cream. The mix of warm and cold and tart and sweet is just amazing. The triple chocolate mousse is made of a layer of white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate mousse sandwiched in between layers of dark chocolate cake. I typically do not enjoy desserts that are overly chocolately but somehow this cake breaks that rule. All 3 chocolate mousse layers as well as the cake are rich in chocolate flavor without being achingly sweet. I don’t think I could have finished the piece in one sitting but the few bites I had were heavenly."

"The fried chicken breast was tough, as if it had been breaded and fried straight from frozen—definitely not high quality. The mashed potatoes were acceptable, but the coleslaw had an unpleasant taste. On the positive side, the fresh biscuits and banana bread were excellent, and the egg and bacon were good as well. The lemonade was refreshing, and the service was friendly. This was my first visit to a Bob Evans since it was nearby, and I can now check it off my bucket list."

"Fantastic experience! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the crowd was lively on a Saturday night. I started with the Salmon Tuna Tartare, which featured finely chopped salmon and tuna served atop grilled pineapple rings. The addition of onions and sesame oil made for a delicious combination. For my main course, I had the Whole Red Snapper, beautifully plated over orzo and veggies. It was absolutely cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!"

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"Horrible experience. We were seated in the back of the restaurant in-front of the open kitchen. One of the staff rubbed his nose with his bare hands and then plated meat directly after. We later saw him touch his pants and then handle food again. We raised this to management. They totally ignored our concern (manager and head chef) slapped us with a 2000$ bill and did not acknowledge the issues. Never been so disgusted. Can’t believe the health and safety protocols that are in place. Disappointed Service: 1"
