"I almost feel embarrassed to say this, but I don't want to be too harsh. Unfortunately, these empanadas are bland and overpriced. At $1.95, you get a mini empanada that's only about 3 inches long, which isn't worth the price. I've tried thousands of empanadas, so I know what to expect, but these were disappointing, to say the least. They lack seasoning completely—nothing at all! The beef is bland, the ham and cheese are unremarkable, and the sweet plantain, cheese, and rice with beans don't have any flavor either. I’m truly astonished by the lack of spices—no seasoning, no adobo, not even salt and pepper? It's just not worth the money."
