"I’ve had issues with this location in the past, but it’s been a while since ordering and thought I’d give them a try. Mistake, I am so very disappointed in what I got versus what I ordered. I’ve ordered the same thing from Papa John’s for some time now so I know what to expect when made correctly. The Parmesan crusted Papadillas are my favorite and I ordered 2 tonight. What I actually got was two of the most sloppily and poorly executed pizzas folded in half. 90% of both Papadillas were crust. Full, thick, crunchy, air pocket ridden pizza crust. Papadillas when executed correctly do not have “crusts” also, what am I supposed to do when my Parmesan crusted “folded pizzas” DONT have Parmesan? So not only did I not get my Papadillas, I also didn’t get the explicit flavor/type either. It’s a shame when food is not made correctly, and I don’t like leaving reviews, but even trying to get a resolution isn’t easy. Do you know what is offered? A free meal, next order when called in to the store directly. Why would I want to order again when my food has been wrong so many times before. Hopefully I have learned my lesson, and have given them the few chances I’ve had to meet basic level of expectations. It’s a sad day when I’ve given up on any establishment."

"I rated them 4 stars because Papa John's in Fayetteville usually does a good job with their pizzas, but today was the worst experience I've ever had. I ordered two stuffed crust pizzas for my kids at 11 AM, and they arrived an hour late—cold and undercooked. I reached out to voice my complaint, and the General Manager, Tiffany, informed me that it would take another hour and a half to get a replacement because they had other orders to fulfill. This is incredibly frustrating for anyone who is working and relies on timely food delivery. I’m still waiting for an update. This is just unacceptable—why would you send out pizzas like that to your customers? It’s really disappointing."

"I wanted a side black olives and the guy kept walking out telling me nothing your not getting that he did it 3 times and he was very rude I was the only one this guy did it too every one else got what they wanted on their side dish but how come not me and I was super nice when I ordered my food I just wanted black olives on the side he actually come out from the front desk from where he was working in the back to come out and really rude telling me no you will not get olives he did it 3 times and I don't appreciate that so rude I will never come back here the other papa John's is nicer and would have gave me my side of olives"

"I got a large pepperoni. It's was weird because there's some guy just wandering around the store not wearing a uniform distracting the employees. My food was sitting on the rack while I waited. Why? Some duncehead in the store is trying to get dates and playing with their phone in the lobby and then going right back into the kitchen. That dude is a joke, it shows the store is a joke, and shows whoever is in charge of that store is a joke. My food was sitting on the rack at least 2 minutes while I stood there because some 30 yr old can't stop hitting on the counter girls. Gross."

"Wow the thing I like the least about any pizza is getting what I call a red pie. You know where is so little cheese that the main highlight of the pizza is the sauce showing through nice and red. That being said I drove to super 1 foods and purchased an 8 oz package of mozzarella cheese. And than micowaved each slice individually. And worse was the topping amounts. Purely criminal. Also I got extra toppings that weren't included. Wow perhaps cross contamination of the food products. I just know I've been cheated on this purchase!"

"Ordered a pizza at 11:15 pm and tracker showed a 37 47 minute wait time. Pizza just showed up at 12:35 am and to say it was room to temperature would be giving it too much credit. Driver then tried to strong arm me into giving them a 40% tip by claiming they only had $6 of change available. They walked away with a $1 tip instead. Hire some delivery drivers and stop paying door dash drivers who take forever and then try to scam me into giving 40% tips. Don’t blame the drivers either you chose to hire them instead of hiring your own drivers who you actually can hold to some kind of a quality standard"

"Overcooked, burnt, dry, inedible. Really a gamble on who's working there and how competent some are. Papa johns won't take back their inedible food. 30 mins after pick up. By the time I got home and tried eating it. It was already too late. Check your food during pickup. Never again will I trust them."

"My co-worker and I had to eat this for our lunch break. The pizza was not good at all, dry, obviously old, and hard...the bread sticks were absolutely terrible, over cooked, and rock hard. Everything looked, felt and tasted like it was made waaay before I even ordered it, like someone had canceled their order and they saved it for a long time to give it to the next order, and it wasnt even slightly warm...it definitely was not made fresh. I get it was ordered close to closing time but to hand out this terrible quality food to a paying customer."

"This restaurant is located in a college area, so it may not prioritize customer service as much since it caters to college students who may be hungry and willing to accept anything. I placed an order online for curbside pickup with a 25% tip, but had trouble finding parking due to limited space. After waiting for 20 minutes and unsuccessfully trying to call, I finally asked someone inside to check on my order. It took an additional 10 minutes for my pizza to be brought out, only to find out it was wrong. I asked for a refund, which also took another 10 minutes as the staff seemed disorganized and did not acknowledge customers promptly. Despite not receiving good service, the food was not enjoyable and I regretted not going to a different location of the same restaurant chain. I probably won't be returning to this particular restaurant, even though it is conveniently located near my home."

"The new stuffed crust pizza is fantastic! I prefer it over Pizza Hut, and the price is reasonable. I'm looking forward to trying more of their specialty pizzas. The restaurant is clean, and there are plenty of staff members working. However, I did notice some employees not wearing masks properly or at all while eating in the back. It would be better if they had a designated break room. I also found it interesting that there’s a sign at the entrance requiring customers to wear masks regardless of vaccination status—this strict enforcement of COVID measures is important. Although the company advertises health protocols, I didn’t see any seal stickers on my pizza, and masking enforcement seemed inconsistent during my visits. While health measures may vary globally, that’s no excuse for lax implementation here. I think the business could be better organized on weekends. The person managing the front should stay at the register except when checking orders. I understand it can get busy and staff may be limited, but having someone dedicated to greeting customers would help prevent crowding in the small space."

"I just wanted to share my experience with this restaurant—I order from them all the time, and once again, they didn’t disappoint! My pizza was baked to perfection and was ready as soon as I arrived, which was only about 15 minutes after I placed my order. "My experience was mixed. The boneless wings were particularly good, but unfortunately, I ended up having a terrible bout of diarrhea, and I suspect it might have been food poisoning. I don't usually have issues like this, so I’m not sure what went wrong. To make matters worse, the staff were quite unfriendly, and after my unfortunate experience in the restroom, I was asked to leave. I'm serious about this. I'm not trying to be a troll; I'm a big fan of Pizza Hut, but I really don’t know what happened. My stomach is still hurting, and this all started about 12 hours ago. I had ordered a meat lover’s pizza along with BBQ boneless wings, so I recommend being cautious with those dishes. I apologize if this sounds gross, but I truly felt awful that day. I still love Pizza Hut and plan to return the next time I’m in Ironton, but I hope they address this issue."

"Pizza was ok. Service was absent. I ordered online and drove to the location to pick it up. I arrived about 15 minutes after the pizzas were supposed to be done so I knew they would be sitting on the rack for me. I walked inside and saw the front area was jam packed with other customers waiting to order and be helped. I went straight up to the counter when a worker (who was slapping around pizza dough) yelled “We’ll be with you in a minute!” I replied “Oh I just have a pickup.” To which I received no reply. The young lady working the counter was taking an order over the phone so I waited with everyone else. One worker came out from the back and chatted it up with the pizza dough slapper. We all stood and waited and awkwardly listening to their conversation all the time wondering why she wasn’t noticing all of us waiting to be helped. Eventually after a long wait a worker went to the rack and announced my name and handed me my pizzas. She then did it for another customer who also was just waiting for someone to hand their already paid for, ready to be served pizzas to them. Will think twice before coming back to this Papa John’s.
