"It was certainly not the worst Mexican I had in Springfield, but I had high hopes because many people say it's just great. However, they say that about another Springfield classic who will remain nameless, and I think that eating the place is unusable. I had the fried tacos, which is a little misleading. I had in mind that a taco rolled up then fried, but all it was tacos in a fried flour tortilla instead of a corn. It was okay, I had the shredded beef that was okay. The food seemed fresh, as it was probably made there, only not a whole lot of taste. And I don't mean sharp, but that would help, I mean... garlic, onion, Zilantro, salt, something. The service was also okay, I sat in the bar as it was a pretty busy lunch, and it took a long time to be recognized, but the guy was friendly enough and competent. Nothing really stood in my head as really great or really bad. I could go back there if I had not found another better place on the other side of the city."
