"We have visited Metro 8 twice in the last 2 weeks, which shows how much we love this restaurant. My favorite dishes are the porcini mushroom noodles, steak, and tuna. The vegetables are always fresh and perfectly prepared, and the salads are crispy and well-dressed. The extensive and tasty wine list is a bonus. Metro 8 is perfect for dates, girls' nights, or special occasions, and the prices are reasonable for the high-quality food. The steaks are better than Angus Barn, the pasta is better than Maggianos, and it's much more affordable. We love dining on the terrace, but the inside tables are also very romantic. The service is great, the atmosphere is fantastic, and they have a top-notch bar and wine list featuring local foods to support small businesses - all my favorite things! Parking is easier than downtown Durham, and we enjoy the atmosphere on 9th Street. The desserts are delicious, and the coffee is fantastic. We will definitely be back soon."
