"The dining experience was disappointing and overpriced, with a total bill of $400 for dinner and wine. The crabcake cup was bland and had a gum-like texture, while the salad was lackluster. The special steak, priced at $128 for two, was underseasoned and not substantial enough for sharing. The potato side was unappetizing, but the Brussels sprouts and asparagus were decent. The bread and butter were excellent. Although the wine selection was good, the prices were excessive. Our water glasses needed refilling, and when I pointed out that the decanter was chipped, the server seemed more concerned about liability than customer satisfaction. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet we still had to ask for water, bread, and to bring the check. Overall, it was an unsatisfactory experience."
