"Ritual has changed tremendously over the last year and not in a good way. Our potatoes were cold (the worst way to serve a hot potato dish), the culture and ambience was gone (so was the meat hanging in the butcher display), the place was empty (that should've been a tale tell sign bc it was Easter Sunday at 1:30pm), the service is practically nonexistent (When we needed assistance I had to go to the host stand to ask for help), and as other reviews have stated, you now have to download an app (Roovy) to browse the menu, order and pay for your meal. You might think this isn't a big deal, but it brings several noticeable issues to light: 1. The wait staff (if there is one) is so invisible they're practically absent. They exist to carry out the food you order but no longer do rounds just to check on you and answer questions. 2. What if you have limited storage on your phone? Without knowing ahead of time that you need enough storage space to download this app, I can imagine some people will have to leave in search of a more reasonable ordering system. 3. It feels so impersonal and the prices are just as high as they've always been. If management is going to discount the quality of service, shouldn't the prices reflect this downgrade, ethically-speaking of course. I felt responsible for being the cheerleader at my table because I was the one dying to return to Ritual, but I can honestly say, even though all the food wasn't terrible, considering all the other changes, I would never recommend this place nor visit ever again--and that makes me sad. *note: You also have to add your credit card to a profile in the Roovy app, which I typically don't do but felt I had"
