"In recent years, I’ve had great food, and even better service at Bonfire. Now, for whatever reason, this establishment has taken a major dive downward. After a few shaky experiences this Summer, I’ve finally reached my breaking point after what occurred to me last night. For starters, my burger tasted like fish (which means they are cross contaminating food, and not cleaning their grill properly) and I could only stomach two bites before I knew something was wrong with it. When my girlfriend mentioned it to the server, she told me it was because of the “caramelized onions” and walked away. The only time she came back was when she gave us the bill for the night. Another person in the restaurant shared the same experience as me and we were never offered another burger or even another meal to substitute for our fishy burgers I left hungry and I felt ripped off for having to pay for an unsanitary burger. The only reason I’m not leaving one star is because of the wonderful experiences I’ve shared here in past. I know the owner, and she WOULD NOT put up with this kind of food or service. Hopefully she starts reading all these recent bad reviews. Be better Bonfire!!!"
