"We went here for lunch on Saturday. This is located in the downtown Mammoth. There is limited free parking on the roadside or Pai parking across the road. We ordered custom pita sandwiches and a custom falafel salad. I added red pepper hummus tzatziki pepperonchini, falafel, chipotle sauce, spicy jalapeño and feta. The falafel pitas were good and so was the custom salad. However one thing that off-putting was that they were using the same gloves for handling vegetarian and non vegetarian items."

"This is the second time in a row that pita pit has been a total let down. I ordered online and the order went through and chargers my debt card. I drove down right away to pick up my order and there was a note on the door saying they were closing early for graduation. This was an hour before closing. I had tried to order yesterday too. Online says they are open Thursday until 8 and I wasn’t able to order Thursday either because they closed at 1:30. So disappointing. When I called the store because there were employees still in the store when I drove up to get my order tue guy who answered the phone was very rude and said they were short staffed and they were closed and it might take a day or two to get my refund. Better luck next time. Are you kidding me!?!? I won’t be back. Two days in a row."

My favorite place for lunch! I always love this place. I never regret their delicious choices. Fresh, tasty, satisfying, and good for you! Update: I had the opportunity to try their Mango Tango smoothies during Smoothie Happy Hour (4pm-6pm), and it was smooth, thick, and delicious! I absolutely loved it and honestly just ordered a different flavor to go before leaving. If you are craving something delicious and good for you; come here!! If you want Subway, trust me this place will hit the spot even better! Pita Pit for life!"

"I was so excited to see there is a Pita Pit in North Carolina! However, I will never visit this location after my experience today. I would have rated them a zero, but it was not an option. I ordered through Grubhub. The time for delivery said 7pm-7:10pm, so I called the restaurant to ensure they knew the order was for now. I was hung up on three times one of which was after I inquired if the gentleman was the manager. I called back and asked for the manager. The woman identified herself as the manager. I advised her that her employee hung up on me three times. She asked me what I wanted. I explained, but then reminded her that she never addressed the issue of her employee hanging up on me three times. She said she would address it, but it's really busy. I asked her name, and she said Nadia. I asked her last name, and she said it didn't matter. She proceeded to tell me that they have a whole line of customers. She said she would be calling her owner, and I asked for his name. She ended up hanging up on me, and they would not answer the phone when I called back. I called my credit card company to put a stop on payment since I could not cancel the order through Grubhub. I was informed that the charge was refunded. So basically, they cancelled my order. Nadia should not be a manager anywhere in her lifetime, and the owner needs to do better with vetting during the hiring process. You will continue to lose customers no matter how good your food is when the customer service is this poor! Former valued customer"
