"I might be mistaken, but I believe Hana Ichimonme is the last remaining gem in the beloved Yohan Plaza, which we now know as the Little Tokyo Marketplace. Although the original bowling alley, the North Face flagship store, and many other Japanese restaurants have disappeared, I’m thrilled to see this traditional Japanese eatery still serving up many favorites. Their menu features classic Japanese offerings like ramen, soba, chanpon, katsu, curry, and various other staples that provide comfort food for many loyal patrons. The quality of the food is solid; it’s not upscale or overpriced gourmet, which adds to the restaurant's inviting charm. The service is excellent as well. However, the change in ownership seems to have diminished some of its original appeal. Pricing is roughly $5 higher than what one might expect. Perhaps this is necessary to keep the restaurant running. On a positive note, parking is validated for 90 minutes, and the shopping center still offers plenty of attractions, making it a worthwhile stop."
