"The fresh pasta with sugo (Mezze Maniche) is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. We enjoyed the salad (Castelfranco) with the nectarines, creamy dressing, and Parmesan but it needed something more acidic. The drinks were fantastic, especially my Paper Plane. Service was attentive in the most unassuming but professional way. Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere but . Worth it."

"First off, fantastic service and atmosphere. The staff here were extremely attentive and pleasant. My wife and I had the mussels and oyster as an app. Oysters were on point and the vinaigrette they offer is absolutely delicious. Mussels: the broth was absolutely delicious but the mussels were overcooked, would suggest the chefs open up the mussels in a pan with the broth instead of stewing them. My wife’s bolognese was as traditional and delicious as it gets, straight from Nonna’s kitchen! I was in deep regret after tasting that when I was enjoying my entree. I ordered the CAPESANTE ALLA GIOVANNI and was a bit disappointed. The dish was deconstructed (not sure if that’s the right description see photo) which wasn’t what I had expected and the skillet with the crab, scallops, and cheese didn’t really have much flavor and I didn’t taste any of the flavors of the sauce that was supposed to be in there. Quality was great but it’s my own fault for not ordering a classic dish as I intended. Overall we were happy with our dining experience and will be back!"

"Very nice service provided by the attentive staff. However, the so called pasta “Signature Dish” was very disappointing. One should not thicken the sauce using corn starch or pasta water. The sauce and the dish itself should have the taste of your grandma’s cooking with enough portion to really enjoy the special ingredients in every mouthful. The price of this dish would have been acceptable if all the above comments were in sync"

"My favorite Italian restaurant in Los Angeles! I've visited several times, and the service is outstanding! This time, we ordered the Bisteccona and the Pappardelle Verdi. The steak had a unique and distinct flavor and was cooked to perfection. The Pappardelle was perfectly al dente and came in a delicious creamy sauce. The wine we ordered was fantastic; they have an excellent selection of wines here. For dessert, we had the Strudel, which was very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant. There’s meter parking available as well as valet service."

"About an hour later, we were seated at a spacious table for six, with unnecessary apologies from the hosts. Our waitress was excellent, providing attentive and prompt service. I ordered the Linguine Delmar, which was packed with shrimp, scallops, and whitefish in a tasty tomato sauce. Having already enjoyed several pieces of the delicious bread beforehand, I only managed to finish about a quarter of my meal and took the rest home for two additional meals this week. I highly recommend it. My only minor complaint is that there was a bit too much house dressing on my salad, making it difficult for me to finish. I should have requested it on the side, but as I’m still getting used to dining out again, it didn’t occur to me. The greens, tomatoes, and cucumbers were all fresh and tasty; I simply found the dressing overwhelming. However, this is a very small issue considering the overall wonderful experience. Both the service and atmosphere were excellent, allowing us to converse freely and catch up with the two friends we don’t see regularly. It was a fantastic evening, thanks to the amazing food and exceptional service."

"I'm not going to say I'm disappointed; just that I've had better. I'll start by saying they loaded the pizza with cheese. Probably the cheesiest pizza I've had. Which, isn't necessarily a good thing. The cheese to sauce to toppings ratio was totally off balance. I decided to go with the original crust (about 3/4 instead of thin, but I probably should've gone with thin. The pizza had very little flavor, other than the salt from the cheese, and some garlic. The cheese was so thick, that it really felt like I was biting through a layer of skin, after letting it cool for a few minutes. I don't feel like I wasted my money, I just wish I got a better flavored pizza for $20. In comparing types of Chicago Style pizzas, I'd compare this to Rosatis, but Rosatis definitely has them beat on every level, as far as the pizza is concerned."

"Great little family run restaurant and will visit again. The bread was really good. Spinach salad was good but way too much dressing and the dressing had a bit of sweetness I could have done without. The penne alla vodka was a huge hit with everyone and we substituted the chicken for mushrooms. The cheese ravioli was ok. The marinara wasn’t as seasoned as we would have liked to cut the richness of the cheese pasta. The sea bass fish of the day was cooked well, but it was drenched in balsamic sauce that was a bit too sweet. But I tend to eat healthier (less sugar) than average American. Next time will be sure to order with sauces on side for entree proteins and salads. Overall, great experience and happy this is in our neighborhood."

"Seems to be under staffed. our server came within few minutes after being seated, and he preemptively apologized as he has to settle a bill for another table. Fair enough, and I actually appreciate that he came to greet us and introduce himself. However, after waiting 15+ minutes, we then spotted him taking orders for another large (12+ person table), then he went to settle the bill for the table he originally mentioned, then he came back to our table. Meanwhile, I see other servers walking around. if I was the manager, and I knew about an overly busy area, I would most definitely reassigned another server to take care of the table. In the situation I was in, customer of the restaurant was definitely NOT a priority; the rules of the restaurant were. Disappointed."

"I am unsure if this is the same Peppercinis that can be found on the corner of Eagle Rd and Westchester Pike. This particular restaurant appears to be fairly new in this location, which is reflected in its service. The staff is friendly and making an effort, though there were some noticeable obstacles in the operation. Additionally, the prices are higher than anticipated. With these prices, one might expect a higher quality of atmosphere and cuisine."

"Here’s the thing. Yes the food is incredible. The wine pairing with our tasting menu was a once in a lifetime experience. But the best thing of all about this restaurant is the people there, their passion and steadfast commitment to quality, authenticity and integrity in creating once in a lifetime experiences through food. There is no question that Frasca is the best restaurant in Boulder, but when you are the best and you keep your foot on the gas pedal towards culinary excellence year after year? Frasca has seeded world renown culinary talent that now work all over the world. We as a community should be proud and grateful that they are here in Boulder, representing in culinary form the stubborn, quirky and defiantly passionate zeal that defines what Boulder stands for. Cheers to Frasca Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We both had salad, pasta with shellfish and bronzino fish plus a bottle of wine, and it was pretty good. The host and servers were not very friendly. No one left us with the feeling they were happy we were there, but more like seating and serving was a chore. The restaurant was noisy. Many of the tables have white drapes running on one side of them, which are across the entire front of the restaurant. The drapes need to be cleaned. There are lots of orange stains, probably from pasta dishes. Even though the food was very good, overall the experience was not worth the price"

"This was our first time at Zuzzu, and weâll definitely go back. The bread and oil/vinegar is complimentary and delicious. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and they were fantastic. If you want a vegetable with your entree, youâll have to add it on for an extra We each ordered Brussels but wonât pay for that again. Maybe weâll share a side next time The smoky smell and cold air rushing in every time the door opened should be noted Lastly, and this is unfair, my ideal Eggplant Parmesan is from Sugo. It is vegetable-forward stacked perfection. I ordered Zuzzuâs version and found it to be too cheesy without enough eggplant. Thatâs just my take. Like I said, weâll go back and try a few other things and definitely try to get out a little cheaper next time!"

"TLDR: Phenomenal drinks and food at a reasonable price! Ambience and service and icing on the top of a great dining experience! My partner, good friend, and I came here for dinner on a Friday night. We had a reservation but we’re slightly late and they accommodated us anyways. We each got drinks from the ir cocktail menu and they were ALL fantastic. Even though they’re on the pricier side $18 per drink) they were worth it! Then we got the Caesar salad appetizer highlight of the meal). We liked it so much we ordered it again! We also got the Brussels sprout appetizer they had. For mains we shared the margherita pizza and cacio e pepe. Both were amazing! For dessert, we got the tiramisu and focaccia with nutella. Both were absolutely incredible and the other highlight of an all together fantastic meal! Service was quick and kind and the ambience was great I personally loved their playlist! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for some great Italian food at a fantastic price!"
"We tried somewhere new for our anniversary dinner and I can’t say enough amazing things about this establishment! Our server John was awesome friendly and just the best! We chose to do the tasting menu… every item on this menu was amazing.. we opted to do the wine tasting as well with the wines that were suggested with each course also 10/10. Amanda the captain of the room was absolutely the most down to earth genuine person. She was friendly thoughtful and so helpful. Ross also helped with our experience he was so great and such a hard worker and Carlos really went above and beyond to make sure that we loved the wines that were paired with each course. We felt as if we were all friends and it was so fun. I would 10000% recommend this place for one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve worked in a restaurant for over a decade and I’ve been to my fair share of fine dining. This was one of the best. Thank you Osteria Umbra staff for making this anniversary a memorable one! We will be back!"

"Hosted a large party event there last week for a milestone birthday after having a wonderful dining experience in May 2023. The experience this time was horrible and disappointing in multiple ways, and I’ll never be returning there. To start, there was miscommunication with the reservation and the pre-fix menu which I think contributed to the frustration of our server. He disregarded us throughout the meal and didn’t check in. We had to flag him down for service on a Sunday when the restaurant wasn’t very busy. The server was very short with me and my guests when we asked for anything. When I tried to provide feedback and explain the pre-fix menu options for dessert, the server barked at me and told me this was never how it has been. There was no apology for what was a miscommunication (not on my part) and then asked in a rude manner, “well, what do you want?!” As a past server myself, I had empathy for someone having a bad day but he engaged with us in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner, as if we were a bother as paying customers. It was so bad that two guests stepped out of the restaurant to disengage with the server. The food also wasn’t as good as it was in 2023, although the gelato and tiramisu were just as delicious. The owners seemed to be receptive to the feedback and did give me a gift card to use at their other restaurants. Hope that other patrons don’t experience the same level of discomfort while dining. It definitely ruined what was suppose to be a special celebratory outing."

"the booking was easy for the Mother's Day, and the menu options were very good, although the service was somewhat slow. the it area is in the upper floor and is not too large, but the seat is comfortable. the interior equipment throughout the restaurant uses blue LED light strips that are not easy on the eyes and do not really create the best ambiente. otherwise it was not a bad experience, but it would not be my first choice next time."
