"We have eaten here several times before and have enjoyed the food, though service has been spotty. Last night we were seated in a room with what I can only call bad karaoke and a rowdy crowd. When we go out on a Saturday evening, we want to be able to talk. This was impossible. Our food was delayed at each course, and we didn't get dinner until my husband demanded our food. We asked for the leftovers to be wrapped and for the check. We were there for 2 unbearable hours, and will never eat here again. "Excellent ! We loved the food and drinks! Innovative and interesting menu and the dishes are as tasty as they sound. Four of us shared a sampler starter plate, mantoo, a vegetarian plate, and beef kofta kabob with saffron rice. The portions were plentiful but not huge and had distinctive balanced flavors. We will be back!"

"I want to start off saying, I’m not slamming the bar/restaurant… but be aware of how much you’re charged. We had dinner reservations at 5pm and arrived early. Decided to have a drink in the bar. Bought two cocktails looked at the prices as signing the credit card receipt. Noticed one was $15, okay thought a little high but they know the prices. Right? The rest of party arrived and we were seated. Our server was wonderful and attentive. At the end of our meal she brought over individual bills which was great we asked for when originally seated. My friend goes to the restroom and leaves me $100 to pay for her bill. As I put the money inside the bill holder, I notice the same cocktail I bought at the bar is now $10… not $15. I ask the server if it had been happy hour for that price. She replied, we don’t have happy hour. I comment on how the same drink in the bar was $5 more. She tells me she’ll check into it. A little while later… maybe a manager, not sure because he doesn’t introduce himself comes to the table. Had zero explanation and doesn’t even try to explain the $5 difference. Just tells me he’ll take the $5 off my bill. Truthfully it’s not the money, but the principle. I tell him it’s very deceitful and how many people are they doing this to and they never notice. Advice look at your bill!!!!"

"On our most recent trip we went for Valentine's and the reservation was chaos. However, at the end of the night, the overall experience was very nice. One of our meals was on the cool side, but was immediately rectified. The togarashi tuna appetizer was phenomenal. Our side salad served with an avocado vinaigrette was very tasty as was the fresh bread with seasoned oil My husband had the stuffed flounder. His dish was exceptional, but a bit small for the price. My dish is not on the current online menu; ahi tuna topped with crab, served with a baked potato and asparagus. The food was awesome, however it came out cool and once rectified the tuna was overcooked The online menu is not up to date. The actual menu is much smaller. The desserts were the highlight of the night, very tasty Overall, our server Zack, was very good. Since it was a very busy night, he did great I would recommend this restaurant if the menu suits you."

"I just love Fresh Market! I'll listen whenever I'm in Brighton. I love that they have vegans and gluten-free options! I always look at the fully cooked TV dinner section... It is always exciting for me to see what plant-based option they have created for this week. I'm also a HUGE fan of the calf and sweet potato salad with brown sugar dress from the salad bar... (it's my favorite! the fresh juices in the house are always a good choice. Also a nice little bonus as it is almost Christmas, as I leave this comment... You can find gelatin free (vegan marshmallows here for your holiday table! They store many different gluten-free treats such as bread, bakery, crackers and more! I've even seen them make gluten-free pizza dough. They also carry a beautiful range of high quality meat and fish. Here's something for everyone! And it's such a great place to stop for a healthy fast lunch. Staff are so nice and friendly, they make it a wonderful place to visit! If you are not yet in Simple Fresh Market, make sure you try it. You will not be disappointed!"

"On Mondays, you may enjoy one conventional wing for free. The majority of the wings were decent, but they could have used a little more sauce, especially the buffalo wings I had, which had no sauce at all. The food arrived around the time they said it would. The fried pickles were delicious."

"My sister and I came here for our first time and the food was great, the service was speedy and the ambience was very chill. I had ordered a skillet and it was an ample portion that I had to save half of it. My sister had an omelet and the cooks had forgotten to put the ham in her omelet. We had informed the hostess and got a discount on the food. Overall I would come back here again since they have multiple choices and I'd like to try them all."

"Delicious and attentive service! We arrived yesterday evening around 6:30 and were seated in less than half an hour as a party of four. While we waited in the bar area, a waitress took our drink orders, which made the wait feel quick. We all tried the red Sangria and the falling Sangria—both were delicious and served in mason jars (very sweet!). For appetizers, we had the Buff-Kisse, which was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It was incredibly creamy and the chips were sturdy enough not to break while scooping it up. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and it was to die for—a must-try when you're here. The other ladies in my party had the fish and chips, the Kick Brokk Alfredo, and the Buff Mac n Cheese. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and there were no leftovers or complaints. I don't understand any negative reviews because the food is absolutely fantastic!"

We were a few minutes late and the host accosted us saying “we called you multiple times” and “we already broke up the tables”. I received call which I couldn’t pick up as I was pushing a stroller. I also called the restaurant beforehand saying we’d be there closer to the hour. We sat down and ordered our meals. The waitstaff was nice and our food came in good time. Maybe the host was having a bad day but didn’t need to take it out on us"

"A party of four, we had handhelds : ahi tacos, skirtsteak wrap, Reuben, and sante fe wrap. We all enjoyed our entrees; grilled asparagus side was good though a few fibrous ends. Dessert menu was disappointing, though, so we skipped that. Noise level was ferocious; the server was kind enough to move us from next to the bar, which was totalling deafening, to a both which was merely very loud."

"I have been here many times but this time this got balls head with glasses was very rude. My fries looks old and I ordered chicken dinner. I asked if they can just charge me for the chicken and not the fries because I don’t like how they look. He replied who should pay for them, I’m not changing the price. You just trying to get something free. So a lady came over and asked what happened I told her she said well he’s probably just frustrated because they been getting complaints a few times today or people not picking up their food. I would sell those all day there’s nothing wrong with them. Maybe to you buti don’t like them full order still on the plate. I said well he shouldn’t be arguing with his customers she replied unfortunately we argue with them a lot. I said that’s not ok. You judged talking want something free. If that’s the case I would have complained snot the whole plate not just fries. People don’t want to pay for the food. Are You kidding me I’m paying for the chicken just don’t want the fries. But, with that being said you don’t talk to people like that. So You gone talk to me bad cause your day messed up. No not acceptable at all!!"

"Congratulations on making fresh pizza that somehow taste worse than frozen. I feel like I have to write this review because the other reviews are not about their food. The other reviews are more about the atmosphere and friendly staff and the cheap prices. All of those may be true (I ordered take out so I don't know about that stuff) but if you are simply rating them on their food, they do not deserve a 4 star rating! All the cheap ingredients make this the worst pizza I've ever had. Go buy frozen if you want cheap pizza. At least Digiorno tastes alright. The dough/crust taste like cardboard. When the crust doesn't even rise you know the dough is poor. The sauce has no flavor at all. It's canned tomato sauce with no seasoning. Seems they use a lot of canned ingredients because the mushrooms I got were definitely canned. The mushrooms were thick wet canned mushrooms that were still cold. If you are looking for a new pizza place to try like I was, this is not the place. You can get better pizza from anywhere else including the frozen section at Walmart."

"I had a great Christmas dinner at Kelowna Oak Cru Social Kitchen. The only small complaint I have is that my soup wasn't very warm, but it was still delicious. My server, Breanna, was pleasant and competent, and the teamwork of all the servers was commendable. The food was delicious, especially the leg of lamb, which was surprisingly generous in portion size. I even had enough for a take-out. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends. I had a draft-free seat by the windows and my overall experience was very satisfying. I plan on returning next week for the Happy Hour 3/$20 special. Thank you for a wonderful, albeit unusual, Christmas in 2020. Happy New Year and see you next week! - Dianne"

"We were celebrating with a work colleague total in the group was 8. Our server was nice and accurate in taking our orders. We arrived at 12:30pm so it was just after the start of lunch rush which I believe contributed to the quicker service for a large party. Our server also was kind enough to provide us with separate checks for everyone in attendance which made it much easier for us. Overall, I recommend dining here for lunch or with a group. The 5th Avenue Theatre is also right across the street which makes it a great location if you are looking for dinner before attending a show."

"we returned here after we had a really nice evening a few years ago. something must have changed in management or concept. the man who greeted us at the door wore an old worn pullover and old used jeans. the waiter was friendly and competent, although a second waiter (not wearing any official clothes) asked us 2 times after dingen, which the normal waiter had already asked us. she wasn't rude or something. the whole situation seemed simply “uncoordinated”. eating was not a blase, but decent food for the price class."
