"The Polish sausage kolache (klobasnic) also scored 5 stars for flavor. The bread was soft and sweet, and the kick of spice was just perfect. Unfortunately, they were out of the non-spicy Polish sausage version that I wanted to try.
I initially planned to order the cherry kolache, but they were out of that too. Instead, I went for the apple, strawberry, and cream cheese varieties. The flavors were fantastic, definitely 5 stars! That said, traditional Slovak kolaches are typically round rolls filled with flavoring, topped with a dollop of filling so you can easily identify the taste. They’re usually served with fresh melted butter and a dusting of powdered sugar. The ones I had here resembled danishes more than anything else.
Overall, these may not be traditional kolaches, but I’m still giving it 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back often, and I look forward to continued visits. Slava slovanom!"
