"We have not been here before- but we will go back. The food was...so. good. In fact my husband asked to speak to the chef- and he came out and shared so much interesting information about how the food was chosen and prepared. He is passionate about what he does. It is also cool that you can watch the kitchen through a glass partition from both inside the restaurant and from outside on the street (large glass window). We had a wonderful evening. (and save room for dessert- we tried both Pavlova and Boston Cream Pie and they were fantastic)"

"My group and I were walking past while discussing if we should stop in for lunch when someone had overheard us. This person highly recommended the cafe so we went for it and we were so glad we did!Everything we had was excellent. My husband and I (currently residing in the Chicago suburbs) both agreed that we desperately wished we had something even remotely similar to this establishment in our area.And although the food was great what really stood out to me was the attentive staff. Every staff member was friendly and diligent in making sure we had a good experience.I also want to make note that this cafe is VERY reasonably priced. I had seen complaints in other reviews and don’t understand the gripe. It is 2022 and between the impact on the food industry left by COVID-19 and the rise of business costs due to limited supplies/shipping issues higher prices should be expected when dining out. I will gladly spend a few (although really maybe $1 or $2) extra dollars to support a local business."
