"Traveled to st john’s to visit my daughter to house cats for her while she goes on her flitter weeks. I had no idea where I was or what to expect from miami to come out and now boca raton and the metropolis miami is definitiw different! in st. john’s county. it is a very small town where everything is quite far from each other. I drove from this restaurant sumo sushi and steakhouse. because there is no food in the fridge raider, I stopped and took the sushi bar. Okay, let's get into the flesh of the thing? I had no idea that this was a real Hibachi place plus sushi signature roles. I'm thinking about benihana, not in the mood for hibachi. So I asked if they had less tears. william the person that mine to order while waiting for the very nice sushi bar recommended. I wanted about 15mins and my "going" order was ready. this is a descended type like a Benihana version. it is family-run and has a sufficient amount of personal. I find this restaurant to be service oriented while every customer fresh sushi, a hibachi show that rival benihana and reasonable prices."

"Absolutely fabulous! I’ve worked in hospitality for years and truly was blown away by the service, food, atmosphere, and drinks! We were going to go to a steakhouse but ended up going here and ordered a few different rolls, tempura, hibachi, mojito, and beers and we all were thoroughly pleased! "To eat one of my favorite places! The prices are fair and the foods are delicious! The service was wonderful, I never had a bad experience. May I complicate the sushi cuisine, I always sit at the sushi bar when I go and they are all incredibly nice. The dishes are so beautiful! I love the free dishes they always give me and the recommendations are on site. Very nice place with staff, a great place to dine!"

"This place is disgraceful. We made a reservation over a week ago at 7:00 to celebrate some birthdays.We showed up at 6:55, at 7:20 they said it should be 5-10 more minutes. We were obviously starving and then we can only imagine that they gave our table away because at 7:45 we asked then again, how long it would be and the woman said, I have no idea. While chuckling in our faces. Will NEVER be going back again. Terrible. We left at 7:50 without any thing in hand. Parking: Had to fill this whole thing out. None is true BTW."

"The sushi was tasty, although I did come across a shrimp shell, which didn’t really bother me but is worth mentioning. The miso soup was flavorful, though a bit on the small side, but since it's a side dish, I can understand that. I must say, the salad was fantastic—probably the best salad dressing I’ve ever had! I also ordered a piña colada, but I found it difficult to drink because it wasn’t blended well. I’m sharing this feedback to help others with their expectations. Overall, it was a good experience, the prices are reasonable, and I would consider returning."

Great prices, lovely atmosphere, and always exceptional service. I come pretty frequently (anytime I crave) for lunch or dinner, and consistency is key here. My food has always been on point, and (if you’ve looked over the bad reviews) for what it’s worth, I’ve NEVER been sick from anything here. Come on people. I even had to use the bathroom before leaving, and it was very clean. I have never noticed anything dirty, and I generally have strong attention to detail. The staff are very friendly-always greeting with a smile-even when busy. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Mishawaka. I would encourage anyone to give them a try. You won’t be disappointed. Vegetarian options: There are lots of options to choose from. The menu is decently large, but not overwhelming. Dietary restrictions: I don’t have any, but have dined here with someone who did and there were no issues. Parking: Big parking lot-no payment necessary. Kid-friendliness: They have a ton of options that wouldn’t “scare” kids from eating here. Lots of vegetarian, chicken, and steak dishes. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp/no step-up/ leading up to the restaurant. Inside there are tables not just booths where wheelchair accessibility would be considered. The tables and walkways are spacious-easily maneuverable for wheelchair accessibility."

"This place is always hopping. They have a great crowd all the time for its hibachi and sushi. The sushi is fresh but limited menu. They never have the items that would make this place rank higher like Uni. For this busy of a place, their service is great. The wait staff is always on the move and they move fast. The hibachi dinners are healthy portions and very good. I like their filet Mignon or shrimp dinners. They have one of the best selection of sake choices too!"

"Fisrt time dining here. Food and value are great...IF you are willing to deal with poor service, unorganized staff and LONG wait times. No host at front desk. Many staff members walked by without acknowlegement. When we asked a staff member running by about our reservation which we were on time for he rudely answered everyone here has a reservation, wait is at least minutes. She will be here in a minute Manager did come out mintes later to announce to the waiting crowd that only those with previous reservations would be seated and she didn't want to waste everyone's time This cleared out some of the walk in's and those of us with reservations moved back up the list. That's the list on the podium that no one mentioned we were supposed to self sign after taking our own temperature, oh didn't you see the sign on the wall to take your own temperature?Now for the good: Sushi is excellent and generous at great prices. All you can eat includes sashimi and appetizers and high end items and dessert. Specials available on top of regular priced great deals. Both the sushi bar and the cooked kitchen items were delicious. Wait between some orders was super long but we were prepared for the wait by the server who was very nice and doing his best with the disorganization. Since the food and value were so good, we will come back hoping that this visit was just a glitch due to management not being prepared for the holiday weekend crowd"
