"We decided to order our meal tapas-style since I enjoy sharing different dishes to sample a variety of flavors. However, we all left feeling a bit hungry as the portions were not substantial. I've managed to figure out how to enjoy a delicious dinner without overspending. For four diners, we ordered fresh golden focaccia, leek envelops, mushroom pasta, an exquisite branzino, lamb shawarma (a special that night), lamb ragu pasta, and a piece of cabbage cake simmered in vegetable stock. Although it sounds like a lot, it didn’t quite fill us up.
My advice is to skip the tapas-style ordering. I would highly recommend the cabbage cake and suggest sharing the branzino if there are only two of you. I was tempted to order the lamb and roots, but they didn’t have a portion for four. If it’s available, I’d suggest that along with just the cabbage. Trust me, the cabbage is phenomenal. The mushroom pasta and leek envelops are overpriced for what they offer. While the leeks are tasty, the portion is rather small.
On a positive note, the cocktails are fantastic. I tried the Malka Whiskey, which I enjoyed. We had enough room for dessert, and each of us ordered something different. My boyfriend chose the chocolate mousse, while I went for the Lebanese Nights. I absolutely loved the Lebanese Nights and paired it with coffee to give me a bit of an energy boost for the ballet afterward."
