"A very good experience. Everything was great. Our server, Connor (doing double duty as bartender) was professional, fun, and he listened to what we wanted. I had a great drink. And a great meal. Steak was cooked exactly as requested, the sushi was a big surprise. Very good and I couldn't finish it all. I think it needed a drizzle of some sort of sauce in addition to the soy and wasabi and pickled ginger. But that didn't stop me from eating my fill. OMG for the hush puppies! Like a cross between hush puppy and beignet. We will go back, for sure."

We've had a run in with the cooks a couple times and they seem like jerks, but overall we usually have a good experience here. The Sunday morning brunch buffet is actually quite good. "Whilst staying locally friends had recommended Victorias Restaurant so we decided to have lunch there. We were seated quickly and on requesting we got an outside table. Our server took our drinks order and when he returned he took our food order. Our food didn’t take long to arrive. The food was lovely and the portions plentiful.We then asked for the bill which our server duly brought us and basically that was the last we saw of our server. He didn’t return to see if we were paying cash or card. We managed to find the correct amount and left it on the table with the bill. Before leaving the hotel we wandered up to the reception area to have a look around, then we wandered back onto the broad walk and back past were we had sat some 15 minutes earlier to see that our table hadn’t been cleared and the money was still sat there. We feel that the service we received spoilt our lunch."

"My wife and I visited The Village Grille for breakfast, lunch, and dinner all in one day. We stayed a few blocks away in the summer and it quickly became our favorite place to eat in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea (and possibly all of Ft. Lauderdale). The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Sometimes they have live music, and occasionally they close the road for live music on the streets. If you are in the West Palm, Ft. Lauderdale, or Miami area, I highly recommend taking a trip to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Find a parking spot, explore the gift shops, walk the streets, visit the pier, go fishing, snorkeling, or scuba diving off the shore for a full day of Florida sun and fun. The Village Grille also has a bar called the Village Pump - try to snag a seat at the bar, you won't regret it. Thank me later!"

"We had a delightful and amazing lunch experience. It was great to see a menu that included both breakfast and lunch options, which catered perfectly to one member of our group who required gluten-free choices. "the food lasted very long to get out and was room temperature when it arrived. chicken and wad were a waffel and three wings? That's so weird. when the check was brought, the host jumped it for the wrong amount and never apologized. server and ambiente were nice, but that is where the experience started and ended. Eating was moderate and underwhelming, service was bad and very slow."

"My wife said her mocktail was the favorite she has ever had. I liked it as well. The focaccia was absolutely phenomenal and the herb butter was delicious I absolutely would love to have more of it! The burger was really good, above average, I prefer a little more crunch on my smash burgers and the onions I prefer grilled over an onion jam but overall it was really really good. The fries and garlic aioli was out of of this world, super crispy and super salty and the garlic aioli I couldn’t stop dipping them in it. My wife enjoyed her scallops as well with kombu sauce, asparagus, peas, and onion. Overall this was a great experience in a beautiful restaurant. We would love to come back and visit the bar again and enjoy more offerings for sure!"

"We went to dinner there at 3:00. There were no one for timing. It seems like it started in 1980 as a name board says. We ordered filled mussels, fish and chips, lobster roll. The lobster roll and the filled shells were okay. But the fish and chips could improve some taste. Food needs some time. But it didn't bother. The staff was good."

"I want to start on a positive note: the food was enjoyable. My French toast was fresh and cooked perfectly, the coffee was decent, and the staff was incredibly warm and friendly. The waitresses and cashier were exceptionally sweet. However, I found the prices to be quite steep. My French toast plate was priced at $10, and while it was tasty, I wouldn’t say it was worth that much—maybe around $7 or $8 would be more reasonable. I don’t want to come off as overly picky about prices, but I also dislike the feeling of being overcharged, whether it’s due to the restaurant's reputation or its location. I’m just visiting Atlanta, and I’ve heard that Buckhead can be quite expensive. I realize this restaurant has been around for a long time, and perhaps they’re setting their prices based on their history rather than the actual value of what’s offered. In summary, it’s a charming spot, but not a great value. I probably wouldn’t go back."

"This is the second time we've ordered from Elly's. I wanted to wait until we had a second meal before posting a review to ensure our experience wasn't just a fluke. I tried the Biscuits and Gravy with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. Both times we've ordered the biscuits and gravy, it has been delicious, with a generous amount of gravy, and the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection! Honestly, they might be the best scrambled eggs I've ever had, aside from my own. My girlfriend had the Berry Mascarpone Crepes, and they were just as delicious. Elly's will definitely be our new go-to spot for weekend breakfasts!"
