"During the Covid wave in August and September 2021, local hospitals experienced a brief but significant crisis, leaving nurses to work long hours under challenging conditions. I felt compelled to help and began purchasing gift packs each night to deliver to the nurses at St. Luke’s downtown, spending around $200 a night on these care packages. I reached out to the Co-Op manager — the store I regularly shop at — and even visited in person. I was pleasantly surprised when Boise Co-Op stepped up with a meaningful and consistent donation that went directly to the frontline workers. Their support never felt like a burden; it was clear they truly cared about our community’s well-being. The management here is exceptional, and I also appreciate that many of the employees have been with the Co-Op for years. Thank you! One suggestion I have is to keep the smoothie bar open later, as it currently closes around 3:00 PM."

"I had a pre-thanksgiving professional dinner and was communicating with another caterer who was taking forever in getting things finalized so a week before the event I decided it wasn't working and started looking for another caterer last minute. Allspice came up on the list and I called them and Richard was very quick in responding and literally what was taking me weeks with the other caterer took me a few hours to finalize and process with Allspice. I needed halal Turkey and he even managed to call up a Muslim farm and arrange that too. In fact, the menu listing was more creative and larger than what I was working with earlier too and he had some good ideas of how to make it work nicely. The meals were in pre-packaged containers and were delivered on time and nice and hot, ready to serve and everything tasted great. My guests enjoyed the dinner. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.
