"Small,quiet, Beautiful inside! I went for breakfast and had the pork chop they prepared it amazingly. I would have expected it to be more expensive for such a nice presentation. And it's only $3 more than waffle house but 3x better. $8 mimosas but they bring you the small bottle of champagne with the drink (8oz I think)! I'd highly recomend comming here on slower off hours dont know how busy it gets during prime hours but I'd call ahead as I'd assume it'd be packed( ~40 seats)"

"We were a party of 8 and felt rushed. We were served our main dishes while eating our appetizers. The wait staff continuously tried to remove dishes from the table that still had food on it. All of the meals were fine except for the 2 fish dishes Halibut and Branzino. Both were over cooked and dry, which is a shame for a seafood restaurant. My draft beer was served in a regular 10 glass, smaller than the typical pint glass. We brought an ice cream cake to celebrate a birthday and it was served on a small plate that was hot straight out of the dishwasher. Needless to say, the cake melted by the time we finished singing happy birthday. I would never return to this restaurant and it definitely wasn't inexpensive. Such a shame"

"If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This appropriation of black American culture must stop. Kimmy's is essentially a Korean-run Soul Food restaurant. The staff are not proficient in cooking black American cuisine, yet we still support these establishments. The chicken tasted like chitlins, the mac and cheese seemed to be boiled instead of baked, with melted cheese on top. The chicken also appeared to be made from frozen rather than fresh chicken. Sweet potatoes were also underwhelming."

"I’m not certain why the reviews are so high. My corned beef hash was out of a can and so salty while the other local diners make their own hash. My eggs were like powdered eggs. The sausage was low quality and very greasy/gross. Fries were drenched in grease. Burger was meh. Would never go here again. Sally’s, sullivans and losaws are all way superior to here. "I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before."

"I had a fantastic experience dining at this restaurant for lunch. The fish and chips were absolutely wonderful, and the fries were perfectly cooked as well. The service was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the place was inviting and pleasant, also deserving a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying their seafood dishes. The price per person was around $20–30, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of food and service. Overall, it was a delightful meal!"

"I will always come to this restaurant as long as it's open. I have been a patron of this establishment for years, despite its name changes. The current owner is doing an excellent job. The staff is always friendly, the home-cooked food is delicious, and the carryout service is great. Thanks to DoorDash, there is never a wait. The food is high quality, the portions are generous, and the owner has invested a lot in updating the restaurant over the years. What I appreciate most is seeing the owner personally expediting food orders. It's rare to see an owner so hands-on these days, and I will continue to support this business for that reason. I admire hardworking people who provide for their families. God bless you and your team. Update: I returned for carryout on 01/25/24. Once again, the service from the two guys working was excellent. The food was fresh and delicious, and everything in my order was correct. We enjoyed a chicken Greek salad, chicken stir-fry with a small Greek salad, and sweet potato fries. Thank you!"

"The pizza was terrible! It tasted doughy and tough to chew. The cheese was different too, I just can’t explain it! There are much better pizza spots in the Bronx that you can tryanywhere else in the Bronxjust not here! I ordered a small PEPPERONI pizza with extra cheese and I asked for extra sauce on the pizza as well. When I received the pizza, there was no pepperoni anywhere on the pizza and there was no extra sauce on it either, but the extra cheese was there! Is there a pepperoni and sauce shortage that I didn’t know about? Because there was definitely none on my pizza lol. I called the restaurant and the person (male) who answered told me that the delivery driver had two pizzas, one pepperoni and one cheese that was going to my same apt bldg which was a lie. The Uber delivery driver only had one pizza with him at the time of delivery and the receipt was with the pizza which showed my name. I paid for priority delivery so I came first and the driver didn’t have any other pizzas with him. Therefore, I know there was no mix up on the delivery drivers’ part, but on the actual My Pizza restaurants’ end. I also ordered Zeppolis which came with a hint of sugar and they were so hard and crispy! They were not airy in the middle and were cooked too done! They were not tasty and hard to bite into so I gave them to my dog who also had a hard time chewing them and his teeth I thought could get into anything! lol I later looked at other reviews for this place after I placed the order and other people had the same issue with the restaurant. Their order was messed up too and the restaurant did not want to admit fault on their mistake. I should have listened to the reviews and ordered from a different pizza spot! You should too! "Whether you're in the mood for breakfast or lunch, this place knows how to get it right. The bagels and lox are absolutely delicious. Our group tried a variety of items, including eggs, pancakes, and bagels. We've been coming here for years, and the sandwiches and soups are outstanding as well. My aunt, who has lived in Philadelphia her whole life, always took us here whenever we visited the city. The service is excellent; in fact, the owner heard my daughter mention that a pickle would pair well with her olives and bagel, so he brought us a plate of pickles. "As residents of Desert Princess, and restaurant operators (my family has operated restaurants and wedding venues for the past 30 years) we understand the quality of food and service, and we often try to support the Mountain View Grille bringing family and friends to eat here. Unfortunately, every time we do so we are very disappointed. This last time the Caesar salad did not taste like one since the dressing was not good and the advertised prime rib was not prime rib but different meat. And of course, the fries are as always frozen. The pitty is that this particular location is easy to get to, has ample of parking and great views but is not run and/or advertised well. The management should hire a professional wedding planner and be advertised as a wedding venue, it should improve the menu to a more modern one and it should change the ambiance of the place. The people that work there (some servers for 23 years) although nice, need to have better training in order to make diners feel welcomed. The bottom line is that the Mountain View Grille could use some very drastic improvements and some help from professionals in the hospitality industry."

"Always a good time when you're pretty drunk in Royal Oak. Considering that it's not off the strip, it's still pretty slammed. Get there before 2AM if you don't want to wait for a seat, or go on a day that isn't a bar night. Unlike most Coneys, National does not have Lemon Rice Soup as a menu staple. The food is very nicely priced and comes out incredibly fast, which is a huge bonus. It's a place to go when you're hanging out with friends, so bring lots. They've expanded their menu lately, so they're not just the typical coney staples anymore."

"Been going to this National since I was a kid. It's been the go-to for my family, especially Saturday lunches out with grandma.The food has always been good and quick coming out. The service has always been really good too.I'm sad that they remodeled because the old decor reminded me of all those good times with my grandma, and then in later years, the late nights with friends in high school.I understand life goes on, and it probably needed an upgrade. "My experiences at this restaurant have been consistently enjoyable. The breakfast menu offers great value for the prices, and the chicken quesadilla pictured tastes far superior to those from Taco Bell, Qdoba, or Chipotle. It is generously filled with chicken. The staff is friendly and I have never had to wait longer than 2 minutes to be seated."
