"A staple of the neighborhood. Pizza bagels, breakfast sandwiches, lox, parfaits and salads. I've been going here for 29 years. The quality is still as good as it was back then. They have local art hung up and usually play easy new country music. "This review focuses specifically on the bagels, which is all I purchase, as I always enjoy them at home. These are authentic bagels, made the right way—cooked first and then baked. Are they on the same level as the bagels from Queens Blvd.? Not quite. But are they very close? Absolutely (I believe the main difference is the water quality). Plus, it's a shorter drive. The establishment is run by a hardworking couple, and they are open every day, even on major holidays."

"Overall I had a good experience at Rich's bagels. The servers and customers were really quite nice. I ordered their breakfast bagel (sausage, gouda, and egg) on a chive bagel. It was a fairly good combination and the warm food helped on a cold Saturday morning. The bagel itself was good with the chives though my particular bagel was a little dense. I did order a half dozen of their other bagels with their very delicious green olive and pimento spread."
