"4$ for Diet Coke. Had to return to the store a hour later because the soda I got from the fridge seemed to be COMPLETELY FLAT. They honored to exchange it but the next one was also Flat/Dull tasting like water.I think they can do better. Much better since their location is so busy.Honestly dont go there only for small food or a small coffee. They need Management to QC more often and rotate their supplies.This was a small pit stop for a Company end of summer BBQ. 2022 and we need to pickup our pants and tie our shoes this late in the game I will gladly take my and my offices business elsewhere. "I had a fantastic experience at this donut shop! The donuts are amazing, and the service is excellent, with friendly staff. "This Bagelman used to have reasonable hours, but for some unknown reason, they've significantly cut back on them. As a result, I can rarely get there before they close at 3 PM on weekdays. Today, I thought I had struck gold when I managed to visit. There were no other customers in the store before or after me, so they certainly weren’t busy. I even joked with the cashier about how I was going to have terrible breath after having my garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese. However, when I got home, excited to enjoy this rare treat from Bagelman, I discovered that I had received a plain bagel with only a small amount of scallion cream cheese instead. I made a straightforward order at an empty store and still ended up with the wrong item. I suppose there’s really no reason to return to this Bagelman location anymore."

As for my breakfast sandwich, while it was tasty, it felt like there was hardly any egg in it—almost as if they used the smallest egg they could find. "I was extremely disappointed with our meal at Cornerstone Pizza Cafe. My kids and I couldn't even finish our food. The steak and cheese with bacon I ordered was bland and dry, and I could barely taste the bacon, which was also soggy. The fries were undercooked, unpleasant, and flabby. My kids also had cheeseburger baskets and didn't touch them either. Overall, it was a messy experience. Even my dog wouldn't eat the fries, steak, or burgers; that's how unappealing the food was. I will never order from here again! Totally wasted my money!"

"As always, the bagel sandwiches were our favorites—simply perfect in every aspect. The addition of avocado was fantastic. I ordered an extra half dozen assorted bagels for later, but they were devoured by guests that afternoon. Once again, they were delightful when toasted and spread (or "shmeared," as we like to say) with cream cheese and topped with sliced organic tomatoes sprinkled with salt and pepper. Everything was excellent, as usual. My only request is that they start offering whipped cream cheese to pair with their soft and chewy bagels."

"Uh I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews. I'll tell you why they have plenty of business coz there is NO other bagel place in Scotts Valley currently that is. So there's no competitor to this business and they sure do take advantage of that. Ownership is ok, sometimes some of the female staff has been rude and dismissive. The guy at the counter is ok, minimal interaction. I think its new ownership since a few years ago perhaps. But they all do not care how they make your bagels. Bagels are over toasted, burnt and flavorless. This photo is nothing compared to last time I had the same garlic bagel where it was so burnt that it was inedible. This time I requested lightly toasted and this is what I got. Yeah you do taste that burn on your bagel. The guy at the cash register didn't even bother to register when mentioned to have it lightly toasted. They gonna make it their way and that's the only way. They won't bother with making it enjoyable. I mean come on, the toppings for bagels are decent at least. But when your bagels are burnt and somewhat flavorless, it makes it hard to justify any eating experience here. Not to mention their bagels are not cheap, for about $10 a pop (as of now) they can do way better. But they won't coz they don't care and there's no one to compete with them and take their business away. Their boba looks and tastes miserable, have tried it only once. Haven't tried their coffee and I wouldn't bother coz if as a bagel shop they can't make decent bagels then I doubt anything else would be much better. The place is very small. Indoors just a couple spots to sit. Outdoors plenty of seating at least. None of those tables are ever really cleaned so bring a sanitizer to wipe things down yourself. They'll give you everything in to go paper bags. Don't offer reusable dishes and silverware. Anyway I just wish they bothered to make decent bagels for once, not burn them completely and have somewhat reasonable prices. I guess that's too much to ask. I sure hope this is my last time here ever but like I said there's no other bagel spots in SV so I keep ending up here in desperate last minute hungry times. In summary I'd say it won't super suck to have food here but that it will suck that is a yes for sure. Good luck!"

"I suppose these sandwiches might be enjoyable if you've never been to a deli or Brooklyn, or if you've never had a good sandwich before. The woman working there was very friendly, so I have no complaints about the staff. However, Italians would likely disapprove of the bread used for the sandwiches. As someone who was born and raised in Brooklyn, I can say that the chicken Parm sandwich here was disappointing - it seemed like it was made by a rat from the New York subway. The breading was not crispy, there were strange tendons, and the cheese was unmelted. This establishment should not be labeled as a true representation of New York."
