"This is truly the best gas station I've ever visited. The restrooms are spotless, and I love the overall concept. While they do offer fuel, the store features upscale snacks and drinks, plus a deli serving fresh-made breakfast and lunch options. I tried the BLAT sandwich—bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato, with a fresh scrambled egg added. The egg was genuine, not that powdered egg substitute you often find. And the bread was absolutely incredible! I understand this is a chain that is gradually expanding throughout the New England area. Keep an eye out for one near you; it's definitely the coolest gas station you'll ever come across."

"We really enjoy the food and like sitting at the bar, but we've had to look for other options because of a strong smell of stale beer at the bar. Although we noticed it during our previous visits, it has become so intense that it's no longer bearable. Recently, we were informed that they are addressing the issue, so we hope to be able to come back soon. It would also be beneficial if they offered drink specials to attract more customers, especially since there are several other Mexican restaurants nearby."

"We discovered it by walking by, looking for an open air burger place in the area, and were attracted by the relaxed, informal, pleasant atmosphere. The tables on the sidewalk of Second Avenue are properly spaced, there is also a covered area around the corner of East 70th, full immersion dining in a NYC East Side street. We have already been there twice in a few days, and were happy with it. The staff was friendly, ready to help with the selection of the appropriate dish or beer, and service was efficient but not rushed. The food was very good, I particularly enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Burger and the Onion Rings. Prices appeared reasonable for NYC: with burger, beer and a shared dessert, the bill was $82 in two and $98 in three. For warm days when one can sit outside, it remains one of my top choices nearby."

"This place is a disaster! I love Baja Fresh and it was a disappointment to stop there on our travels. Our order was wrong. FOUR times! The girl who rang us up and took the order was rude. We walked in. She looked at us, and then went back to putting together a “to go” order. It looked large. I understand that. But was surprised at her attitude. I waited while she put four orders of chips in bags. and decided, we will use the restroom then since she was so busy. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting. That should have been my red flag to leave. But we were tired and still ordered. When we went back. She was still doing to goes. I actually had to ask her- “ hey do you see me?” That’s how long we waited. She glanced over and said. “I’m busy I’ll be with you in a minute.” Well- it was over five minutes and not till another rush came in standing behind us that she walked over to take our order. She was so rude. Made mistakes on taking in the order. Then once the order came out- it was wrong and I’m glad I checked before we drove off. I had to run back in and have them correct it. I looked for a manager to complain to, but it looked like she was the manager. Oh my heck. I can’t believe anyone would have that kind of person running a shift. Love Baja Fresh, but will NEVER go back to this one. My husband ran multiple restaurants similar to this and he couldn’t believe it. Someone needs to check in on their stores and get rid of some bad eggs."

"I asked for extra rice they gave me extra meat. The chicken on the kids tacos was extremely dry....so disappointing. Also the guy that's working the register is not good at his job. I ordered 2 large jamicas, he over flowed it and had it POURUNG out of the top. He told me it's ok...no its not....then he tried to make me accept it like that. I ended up asking for a whole new drink...he still ended up giving me and over flowing drink. This was our first time there and very last. This is unbelievable and I'm petrified."

"Bad Waitress NE was awesome! Super cool atmosphere, very kind and attentive staff, and tons of vegetarian options. I stopped in for lunch today and got the super nova kale scramble and a cup of coffee, and I loved it. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made sure to refill my coffee and water frequently, it made for a really good experience. The other reviews on Google were pretty negative, maybe they were made in their first week of being open? Not sure if Bad Waitress has done extra training or if the staff has just gotten into the swing of things, but either way, I think I found my new favorite breakfast place in NE!"

"Delicious! I had the fish with garlic sauce, and it was lovely and very flavorful. The refried beans served in a cup were sweet and incredibly tasty, even the cup itself! We dined on the front terrace, which had comfortable seating in a nice shaded area. It was surprisingly quiet, despite the cars just a few feet behind us. We will definitely return during our trips to the area."

"My friend tried the new vegan chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. I had the delicious Impossible Burger and some Brussels sprouts (which were both flavorful and well-prepared). We also shared the Wobble Rings, which were great. Additionally, we made a few special requests to our server, and they promptly accommodated all of them. The Five Napkin locations throughout Manhattan offer a spacious and comfortable atmosphere. I previously visited another location with a small child, and that experience was excellent as well."

"I typically avoid chain restaurants unless there's no better option available. However, Baja Fresh is not your typical chain. They serve generous portions of extremely fresh ingredients in every dish. I'm really enjoying their carnitas bowl with black beans and mango salsa—it’s so delicious that I can’t help but salivate just thinking about it! Each meal is enough for two, often leading to late-night cravings afterward. It's so good that you end up eating until you're too full, and then you find yourself going back for more."

"I came here after I visited the museums in the area to find just a short bite. I was a little hesitant at first because of the reviews, but it wasn't disappointed! Checkout was very friendly. The prices were very decent. I have a steak salad that had a wealth of steak and was very fresh. Chips and queso were also very good and only half of the provided Queso used. "Exceptional food! While in town for a graduation and this clean, friendly environment was close to our hotel. We ate there twice in 2 days because it was THAT good the first time! "The food is always delicious, and the service is outstanding. Our server overheard me wish my guest happy birthday, and at the end of the meal he added a festive sparkler to our dessert without any request from me. Another time, we were seated outdoors and it started to rain. Our server helped us carry all our food inside even though he got drenched. Chef Geoff 's must treat their staff well because they always convey that attitude to the customers. Great job, CG!"

"While the food was outstanding as indicated by the rating given the service was absolutely abysmal. Our seating for Mother’s Day was early and the restaurant was 10 15% occupied. We waited nearly 10 minutes for our waiter to initially show up. We did receive water from the host, but that was all as we waited. Our meals arrived approximately 45 minutes after we placed the order. This was what really caused the low service rating. During the meal, we had one visit from the waiter and that was it. I cannot imagine what the service would be like on a busy night or shift. Perhaps they were short staffed during our visit? Or there was an issue in the kitchen that caused the long delay? No information was provided to us so we were left to conclude that the restaurant finds their service acceptable. Again, it is very unfortunate that the service was below what I feel is appropriate. The food was fantastic and the presentation was on par with my expectations. Would I return? Perhaps…."

"I was in the mood for a healthy lunch and decided to stop by Baja Fresh. I was very pleased with my choice. The chicken salad, featuring fresh romaine, was well-portioned and came with a selection of dressings. I opted for the vinaigrette, and it was just right. As a nice touch, it also came with a small basket of tortilla chips. I didn't finish them all, but I appreciated the gesture. I also love their salsa bar; it makes me want to sample a variety of options to find my favorite, but I ended up sticking with the classic salsa. I would definitely recommend this place!"
