"positiw, our waitress was really nice, eating was very good. con bar service was terrible. it took 15 minutes to get our cocktails, and the explanation was that they run low on the glasses. I've never heard that before. then we ordered a bottle of wine with our escapes. Surprisingly, the glasses came away immediately, but lasted 20 minutes to get the bottle. we were almost done when it finally came."

"We sat in the way back, by the other bar. It is a room with brick walls; cute, but not as elegant as the main dining room. We picked it because we thought it would be quieter and easier to hear. The main dining room did sound noisy from where we were sitting, so I think we made the right choice. We no longer go to noisy restaurants, so this figures largely in our choice. Food is always good here. Service is about 85-90% attentive. It’s close to our apartment."

"Typical Wisconsin family restaurant. The server was great. However, the prime rib was severely overcooked, and there was a hair in the dish containing the poached eggs. The restaurant generously took 10% off our bill for an inedible breakfast... Definitely will not"

"The food was terrible. The menu was small, which we understand, but not like a Japanese Sushi Place. Mainly sweet or spicy stuff. I would call it very Americanized. The service was wonderful. No complaints with that. Too bad"

"We were excited to try this place and the food was mostly good. The biscuits and gravy are just bad. The gravy looks like it was frozen then microwaved. We informed our waitress who didn't seem to care so we call for a manager and she has an instant attitude before even engaging us. We ask her politely to listen to our issue before defending herself. She was definitely ready for combat over what should've been a minor issue. She did take the biscuits and gravy off our bill but WE WILL NOT BE BACK. Too many options for $30 breakfast for 2 without beverages around here!"

"Who knew that my favorite pasta sauce has their own restaurant? Not me! My boss recommended this place for our Team Holiday Dinner and reservations were very hard to get so please make sure to plan ahead! Before I get into the food I first want to talk about the thing that stood out the most to me and that is the service. The service is absolutely incredible and I could not have asked for a better experience as a first timer. They are very attentive and helped us order enough for a table of 7. It was most of our first times and therefore we wanted to try everything they were most known for, so we definitely got all the best recommendations. Now let's get into the must haves: stuffed mushrooms, fritto misto, the meatballs, cesar salad, fiocchi, shrimp scampi, and the double cut pork chops. Everything else was delicious as well, but those were just the ones you absolutely can't skip out on. Oh and i forgot one more thing you need to order every time... their dirty martini with blue cheese olives! Chef's kiss! The place is really romantic with dim lighting so definitely come for date night, but it was also a perfect holiday group dinner location so come for any occasion!"

"I'm so so so happy that Laguna has a new sushi spot. I was sad that San Shi Go and 243 Sushi Laguna closed. Seabutter is a solid addition. The sushi is so fresh and the flavors are really delicious. We always order the Sunset roll, the Salmon Supreme, the Miss Salmon, the Crispy Albacore and the Yellowtail and Spicy Tun crispy rice. Hot house sake and Fried Green Tea ice cream with chocolate drizzle (good but would love crisper and warm tempura instead of cold) Honestly, everything is delicious! If I were to pick just one item. to get it would be The Sunset. I also love the 2 pc sushi the Yellowtail Belly is wonderful and Fatty Toro. The kids get Seabutter's version of a California Roll made with blue crab not imitation crab. They love it. They also love the Miss Salmon, the Beef Gyoza and the Garlic Edamame. We have tried the Hye, the Shiso Special, Yellowtail Scallion and the Tuna Explosion too! Love the fresh wasabi! Staff is great. The bus boys are really efficient, observant and kept out waters filled."

"Delicious and attentive service! We arrived yesterday evening around 6:30 and were seated in less than half an hour as a party of four. While we waited in the bar area, a waitress took our drink orders, which made the wait feel quick. We all tried the red Sangria and the falling Sangria—both were delicious and served in mason jars (very sweet!). For appetizers, we had the Buff-Kisse, which was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It was incredibly creamy and the chips were sturdy enough not to break while scooping it up. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and it was to die for—a must-try when you're here. The other ladies in my party had the fish and chips, the Kick Brokk Alfredo, and the Buff Mac n Cheese. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and there were no leftovers or complaints. I don't understand any negative reviews because the food is absolutely fantastic!"

"The Most Frustrating Meal I've Had in Madison. My boyfriend and I went to Avenue Bar this afternoon around PM (Sunday, Oct. to catch the last quarter of the Packers game and enjoy some beer and appetizers. We have never been before, but have driven by plenty of times and decided to check it out We walked in and stood there until a bartender told us to just sit wherever. The host showed up after passing by a few times and saying he would be with us in a moment. We were surprised that he was so busy for having an almost empty bar with the exception of a few fans and one table of six who were nearing the completion of their meal. He eventually made it over to us and asked...read more"

"Wasnt happy with the changed Menu offered where we are staying so we stopped in for a menu to see what they offered and YAHOO! REAL food we were happy with!! Their American and Italian Menu was for EVERYONE, including kids. Their house salad offered the Field Greens, (which we love), cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, red onion, croutons and FRESH grated cheese! Majority of other restaurants ONLY offer Specialty Salads. The Chicken Parmesan was tender and delicious. Their Fish Sandwich on a Brioche Bun was toasted just right, was lightly fried (some places over fry) with lettuce and tomato and their French Fries were crispy on the outside and tender inside, not undercooked and limp like other restaurants we tried. They have our business for the rest of our summer instead of where we're staying!"

"We visited the South Hills location since our favorite one in Bridgeville was demolished and (hopefully rebuilt). So, since we always have Eat 'n Park after church on Saturdays we came here. Well, I had the Herb chicken with 2 sides. My chicken was heavily coated with breadcrumbs that had no taste. I had 2 chicken breasts that tasted like a mouthful of breadcrumbs. We also had a order of 2 over easy eggs and toast. I had to send it back twice because the egg yolks were cooked all the way through.Hey chef- Over easy means when you break the yolk... the orange stuff is supposed to run out. Our server, Rebecca, never checked on us once she served us our food nor did she refill our drinks when needed. We only saw here for taking our order and dropping food off. Very poor service. We tip 20% and higher but couldn 't this day due to lack of good food and attention to us, the customers. Hopefully, when we are there next Saturday after church until our Bridgeville Eat 'n Park is open your service staff and chef and step it up. If not, I guess we have to go to Bob Evans or Denny 's."

"here on a walk in providence. the waitress was so rude that I felt compelled to write that. the place was guided by the titled children who did not care for their job. the waitress treated us like an inconvenience. she has our order not for 20 min. We were going to leave us again and again, and she sighed with disapproval when I ordered two beer and coffee. they fell rudely a beer not two beers as I ordered) on our table when we were not looking and lastly charged us $30 for 1 beer and two coffees. the police also stopped to attack a customer complaint. I can't imagine what it was about."

"You left the extra mile! Not often wait employees go out of the way, but our staff at the Ground Round went beyond our expectations. The food was delicious, but was overtaken by the staff. I've never been on duty as I had tonight and I'll definitely come back. Had the chickens tortilla soup and the extraordinary chocolate spoon cake. Forget to make a photo of the cake, what was it worth saving space!"

"I have visited this restaurant numerous times and always enjoyed the food. However, during our last visit for dinner, we experienced some frustration. We waited patiently at our table while the bartender appeared to be busy chatting with patrons and doing tasks like cleaning dishes. After a few minutes of being ignored without any acknowledgment, we decided to leave. Although I have recommended this place in the past, I will no longer do so."

"I mentioned that it was my fiends birthday on my reservation through Open Table but no one saw the Birthday that was noted with my reservation. No one did anything at the restaurant to help me celebrate it with my friend. We still had an amazing time and the belly dancing was fun to watch. Food was great! But it would have been nice to have some one at least bring a slice of cake or something for my friend"

"Our server was just plain not a good server. She never actually told us her name. She had black hair somewhat curly, I believe began with an S. We had to ask for bread three times. Finally got it at the end of our meal. Our server didn’t bring out our food. So they just auctioned off food, this is just not the way I expect my food served unless I go to like McDonald’s. Drinks were empty, not refilled. We had to attempt to flag them down multiple times. But the table next to us. It’s was wiped 5 times and no one ever say at it the whole time we were there. We were one of the only two tables outside. So we were VERY disappointed, especially since I’ve only heard good things. If it wasn’t Christmas and since I have heart. She’s lucky she got a tip. Cause I considered not tipping. Tipping means proper service and that is not what we received."

"I've dined here many times over the years, and despite the new restaurants that have opened nearby, I still find myself returning here, often as a starting point before heading downtown. I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy. Their martinis are excellent, served with a generous sidecar and a strainer cover to avoid ice splatter. The chowders are still outstanding—definitely give them a try!"
