"First time visiting the Greek Corner. It 's no wonder I 've never seen this place. It 's almost hidden from everything! It 's located off of I-4 near the Princeton exit (on N. Orange Avenue . This restaurant is tucked away literally on a corner (hence the name, Greek Corner? . Charming! Nearby is a nice body of water with downtown Orlando serving as a backdrop. If it hadn 't been raining, then I would 've eaten outside to enjoy the view. But alas, the weather is never docile in Orlando. So I go inside, and order. The first thing that I notice is this quaint, little interior with a huge Greek soldier (statue standing by the entrance. The interior is exactly what I 've always pictured a stereotypical 'taverna ' to look like. In short, I was instantly in love with the interior. As for the food... I ordered from their 'Greek Dinner Specialties. ' I got myself the Lamb Kebob (with a side of rice pilaf . My reasoning here is: lamb is one of the favorite Greek meats (and mine too . Preparing lamb well is a great overall indicator of a Greek restaurant 's quality. I also had the choice between a soup or a salad. I opted for the salad, but I am not a big fan of soups or salads. The salad came out. It looked nice, I suppose. It your standard lettuce, cucumber, tomato accompanied with olives and feta cheese. I only ate a few bites out of it. Nothing special. When I got my Lamb Kebob, I was immediately enamored with the visuals. The lamb looked quite appetizing (as it was impaled upon a stick along with some onions . There were also some orange slices next to this huge bed of yellow rice pilaf. The lamb was fantastic to say the least. I always order my meats cooked on 'Medium ' so that I can enjoy some of the natural flavoring of the red meat. It was cooked just right. Very flavorful. It wasn 't quite as terrific as the lamb from the Greek Flame Taverna, but it was still fantastic. The large amounts of yellow rice pilaf was amazing from the viewpoint that I love rice! (especially rice pilaf Out of all the Greek restaurants I 've been to, I would say that the Greek Corner has the best-tasting rice in all of Orlando and Longwood. I know that rice pilaf is only a side order, but when you combine it with the more hearty/robust flavoring of the lamb, then you 're in for a great combination of two, distinct levels of taste (which go great together . The rice is very zesty, almost sweet...it seems to have a hint of something sweet in it. I don 't know what it is, but it 's amazing! I usually sample every Greek restaurant 's pita bread to compare each other, but I chose not to order any. I 'm trying to cut back on my white bread intake (due to health reasons , but I intend to snack on some next time. Based upon a first-time visit, I have to say this is one of my favorite Greek restaurants (along with Greek Flame Taverna and Mykonos . The charming interior of a taverna plus the Lamb Kebob gave me an excellent first impression. Top marks to this place!"

"Nice greeting at host table. All in all good service and the food was decent and I 'd recommend. My only gripes would be: 1) The water is awful. We 've been here before several times and I 'm always reminded. It seems to be getting worse. I 'm not sure how this is not addressed by management in that it 's unmistakable. It 's not like it 's a little unpleasant this is horrid. Management please change the filter, or look into your domestic drinking water, there 's simply no excuse for this. Luckily I was able to accompany my meal with a beer. 2) This isn 't as important but it 's just something that would make the ambiance better. You see this in many places nowadays and that is the lack of detail and paying attention to lighting color temperature. You have beautiful warm lighting in your chandeliers which are a color temp between 2200K and 2400K which creates a very warm and inviting atmosphere but then you have spot lighting all over that emit what looks like at least 4000K which looks frankly institutional almost like an operating room. I have to wonder, what was mgmt thinking when they turned these on for the first time? Did they not notice the color difference? Did they not think, this looks odd? Perhaps they did and thought, Oh well, the money and time was spent and we 're not revisiting ? I don 't know but I would say perhaps you can replace them with 2700K color temperature bulbs. That 's all. I 'd go back if I knew the water was addressed."

"This place falsely advertised traditional , Greek cuisine. I was absolutely disgusted by the so-called moussaka and bland tasting green beans...I discovered that this business managed to expand. I do not know how when the food is so bad. This location microwaved the food when I visited my one and only time. I had a terrible headache from the salt/sodium in the food that appears to have come from some place like a wholesale club. The food was so horrible that I could not even eat it and I vowed to never return. I ate some of the bread, but could not stand the taste of the other food. I could not leave a review over a year ago because I could not find the place until today, 04Mar19, when I discovered there was more than one location. What was worse was that someone recommended this place. The moussaka at the other location had the same tomatoey smell as the first time I smelled it, which was disgusting and the green beans were bland. The pita bread was clearly store bought, not homemade. The moussaka should be a thick cream sauce not overflowing with tomato sauce and melted cheese. I was not impressed at all. If you are looking for traditional Greek cuisine, keep looking because this is not it. The pic with the neatly cut moussaka is what moussaka SHOULD look like. If you found this review to be helpful, please like it. The response to my review is ridiculous. A pic is worth a thousand words and I have only posted a review about each location. This food is NOT authentic Greek cuisine. Do yourself a favor and avoid Bell Greek Cuisine."

"We went to dinner last night, had a late reservation 1015pm. That was a mistake but it was our first time there. The atmosphere we amazing and the waitress was friendly. We sat outside our appetizers were amazing! We ordered the truffle garlic bread and arancini? Both were hot and fresh and we were excited! I think our waitress may have forgotten that we needed to place dinner order. She took our appetizer order and never came for dinner. After we finished our appetizers.she eventually came and we asked if we could place our order for dinner. It was approximately around 1045 at this point. She took your order and we waited still excited about the food to come..food came out around maybe 1115. It did look good,.however that was all. .we both ordered the aged ribeye, potatoes, I ordered asparagus and my friend ordered roasted carrots. The best thing about the food was the potatoes. They needed a little salt but were passable. MY steak I ordered med well. The inside was cooked perfectly. I could not figure out why the outside was so tough. I had to saw into it to eat. Also it had no flavor at all. It tasted like it was just placed on the grill without even a sprinkle of salt. My friend ordered steak well done. It was worse than mine and also no flavor at all. There was a sweet homemade horseradish sauce that we tried to used to give it some flavor. I have had good steaks before and don't like to use sauce on my steak because I feel it hides the true flavor. This however was the only flavor the steak had. The asparagus was ok also no seasoning either. Roasted carrots were ok but not that great. We were so disappointed because we started off enjoying it so much. So if you go do not make a late reservation. Also the steak had no flavor. I would like to go again but it would only be because of the bread..but our bill was close to $200 including tip and we still had to go and get food elsewhere. This is only my experience and it was my first time. I don't blame anyone i just felt that the food should be good no matter what.time you go. I should note that we did not pay attention to the fact that the restaurant did close at 11pm. So that is why I saying maybe our experience was due to being rushed to close im not sure."
