"The restaurant itself was decent, but the service was quite disappointing. Our server did not take part of our party's drink order, and I had to call her over to assist us. Ordering took a long time, and while the food was excellent once it arrived, we didn't see our server again until we were nearly finished with our meals. She brought out the birthday dessert, but forgot to provide utensils, so I had to ask another server for them. When we requested the check, it took a while to receive it, and when our server finally brought it, she stood over us, waiting for payment. This was the most interaction we had with her all evening. We noticed that a gratuity was already included, which was frustrating because we were not happy with the service and would not have tipped 20% otherwise. We’re disappointed we never saw a manager and felt compelled to leave such a high tip despite the poor experience. We will not be returning."
