"Stop by here for lunch on occasion and just constantly disappointed. Why is the food so much worse than the other sister Mario's locations? Core marinara sauce tastes straight from a can.... Pizza is either undercooked or scalding hot never in the middle.... Knots are soggy. Why do I come here, you ask? Mainly because it's a lot less busy than the other spots in the area like Victors which is great when I'm in a rush. The dining room is clean and the workers are friendly. As a big fan of the other locations, someone needs to look into why it's so different."

"The best pizzeria in South Nassau! They took very good care of us during the pandemic and were always cheerful. You can't go wrong with anything you order. The whole wheat pizza is fabulous! For my birthday they sent me a coupon for a free personalized pan pizza. It was incredible and enough for 4. The slices were heavy because they are loaded with cheese. It blows away my memories of Pizzaria Uno. The calzones are old school Brooklyn. They are also very filling and made with good quality ingredients. The manager even called me to see how I liked the pizza. Once again, the best pizza on Long Island! Thank you, Mario's !"

"Called in to place an order for delivery at 5:13pm. Ordered a large pizza, a chicken Alfredo pasta and 2 appetizers, was told 45 minutes to an hour. After an hour and a half called to check on delivery and was told ?driver just left, you should have it any minute.? Called back 30 minutes later (2 hours after ordering) and was told our order ?didn?t exist.? Here?s the kicker they had my address attached to my phone number, yet we just moved into this house YESTERDAY. So, they had to have entered it manually themselves and yet they said ?nope, no order, must have been a computer glitch.? After asking more questions the best they could offer me is ?20% of my delivery? and we would have to start all over. Absolutely terrible customer service!! How in the span pf 30 minutes does it go from ?driver just left with your food? to ?we have no order at all for you? and then the best they can do is 20% off ? save your money, save your time, go anywhere besides here."

"I recently had another amazing Cheesesteak Stromboli from Star, and I can't get enough! I used to be a devoted customer of M.T.P., but my last three orders from there were either wrong or served cold. Star truly deserves a perfect 10! This place is outstanding! The staff is always a delight to talk to on the phone, and placing an order is effortless. My food consistently arrives hot, fresh, and with a smile. Everyone I've dealt with has been fantastic. Other pizza places could really learn a thing or two about making great pizza and delivering excellent customer service. But honestly, they don’t need to—I'm more than happy to spend all my money at Star!"

"I've never encountered such rude customer service! I placed an online order for food from Frank's at 5:30 pm, well within their operating hours. When my sister went to pick up the pizza, the door was open, and a man inside, without a shirt, informed her that they were closed and that our pizzas hadn't been made, even though I had already been charged. When I entered to request a refund, I was met with such hostility that I was taken aback. The employee practically told me it wasn't his problem and blamed a third party, then yelled at me to leave his restaurant. My husband returned to speak with them, as I was quite upset, and the man even claimed he had called the police on me! I contacted DoorDash, who handled the online ordering, and they stated that Frank’s could have easily refunded me since they received my payment. Honestly, I don't even care about the money anymore! I'm just in disbelief over how I was treated by this unhinged individual. I wish I had recorded his outrageous comments. I will definitely not support this business and will share my experience with everyone I know."

"We are happy Bella pizza is near our hotel, will come back again. The servers were nice and friendly. Breakfast and coffee was good and affordable. Omelette comes with potatoes/toast with butter and coffee for $8. "So I started getting food from this place before Kovid Hit and it was always amazing, her? Re Burger and Pasta were great? the last few times I ordered the quality of the food has become worse. Today I ordered a beef burrito. about them tell me 10 minutes, but take 30 minutes to prepare my food they had?t even began to cook when I picked it up), I got a burrito with ground beef and cold cheese, salad and tomatoes. the Burrito wasn't even wrapped and when I picked it up, everything fell out, and on the menu it says it comes with chips and salsa. They gave me less than a handful of chips and no salsa, just ketchup. it seems as if the owners really don?t care about the quality more, it tasted like cafeteria food and was thrown together, not even heated up on a grill. his disappointing that I once loved this place and now? Just really bad, and I? m sad that I spent 20 dollars on an order that I got free in a school café."

I ordered the Scarface hero, which includes mesquite chicken, smoked gouda, bacon, and chipotle mayo, and my total was under $10 after tax. The place is situated within a residential development and may be somewhat out of the way if you’re not from the neighborhood. I suspect most of their customers are local residents, but Bella Fair Gourmet is definitely worth a visit if you find yourself nearby."

"I ordered a salad in a pick up order tonight and I threw 95% of it out. I ordered an antipasto salad... It was made wrong and the meats were really wierd and rubbery with no flavor like they were boiled or something. No idea. The eggplant was breaded and soggy like noodles, (threw that away too, I didnt even know what it was til I re read what they put in their antipasto), there was no onion. So I was left with browning lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and the cheese. I literally threw it out and went elsewhere. I also said I wanted a can of soda when I called and the rude man at the register was treating me like I was trying to steal it after I paid and went to grab one. He said you didn’t pay for that and I said well when I called I said I wanted a can of soda, “well I didn’t ring you up for that”, okay well here’s the dollar. Communicate with your team better. Because a girl took my order when I called. Literally couldn’t pay me to go back."

"Nardi 's is one of the better-reviewed restaurants in the area and I was eager to see why. When we arrived, we saw from the signage that Nardi 's used to be known as Frankie and Johnny 's. In fact, when the employees answered the phone, they said Frankie and Johnny 's ! When we drove in, we noticed that the parking lot was surprisingly large for a small town restaurant. As we walked in, there were two separate dining rooms. We were seated in the one further to the back. We were a bit early for dinner but as time went by, the restaurant became crowded with large groups coming in. We didn 't know what to expect but wanted a sampling of everything. We ordered the mussels and fried calamari appetizer, a garlic angel hair pasta and a linguini and clam sauce entrees. We were offered a free large loaf of Italian bread with plenty of butter. What came out of the kitchen was an astounding feast, capable of feeding 6 people. Our party was only 3 persons. Every single dish we ordered was served in family sized portions, and best yet, in individual entrée prices! The mussels came with a delicious marinara sauce. The calamari was not only rings, but the actual tentacles, which is very rare for any restaurant to serve. The pasta dishes were cooked well with heaps of garlic and clams. We really loved everything about the restaurant. The tables were roomy and we weren 't elbow to elbow with the other diners. If you have a large family or group of diners, this restaurant is for you. You get value for money, great food and good service. I would come here again, but next time with a big group!"

The atmosphere is fantastic! The owner, Emilio, is unforgettable—his warm personality and dedication to family shine through. Having been in the business since 1988, he truly knows his pizza! The menu offers a fantastic variety, including specialty slices, a range of pasta dishes with meat, heroes, Paninis, soups, salads, and more. I can't wait to return for lunch or dinner. If you go, I highly recommend the La Constantina with French fries, or for a healthier option, try it with a side salad."
