"We chose to celebrate my husband's birthday and Christmas Eve at this restaurant with a reservation for 7:45 PM. Upon our arrival, we noticed that the place wasn't very busy. However, we felt quite rushed by our waiter. At one point, he even asked for our menus back because he didn't want them to get dirty from our appetizers, despite the fact that all the menus were laminated. When he returned to take the rest of our order, he seemed impatient and annoyed while we were trying to decide what to order. I apologized and mentioned it was our first visit, but I didn’t even receive a generic response like "That's fine; I'm here to answer any questions." My suggestion to the restaurant is to close on Christmas Eve if they're not willing to provide good service on special occasions."

"Well for one they allow dogs and sat us near a couple that had a dog now that wasn’t the issue the issue was the dog was eating off the plates that are given to the people who are dining in it would’ve been different if they given the dog a to go container to eat out of then on top of that the dog had a really horrible smell that made me ask for a table change and it wasn’t just us who smelled the dog and our waitress even said that no one wanted to sit near the couple because of the smell even though the couple are regulars and she mentioned usually the dog doesn’t have a smell and I was like if they are regulars how many times has their pet eaten off multiple dishes and I just hope they throw away the plates used by the couples pet, other than that the service was great we had nice servers who were accommodating when we wanted to move."

"This is my favorite restaurant in the Alpharetta/Johns creek area. I recommend going to your reservation early to have a cocktail at the bar before sitting for dinner. The rose-infused gin is delicious. Also the duck leg confit appetizer is soooo good! I love the bread service with herbs, walnuts and cheese. For dinner, I get the saffron chicken kabob every time I go because it is so good. My husband mixes it up and hasn’t had a dish that wasn’t amazing. Of course you can’t go wrong with baklava for dessert, but if you’re craving ice cream, the saffron cardamom ice cream is so good you’ll want seconds. The service is great and everyone there will make you want to come back"

"Made reservation here for New Year’s Eve for 4 people because could not get one at Rumis nearby at the Avalon. Nice restaurant. Jazlyn our waitress was sweet. The manager/owner was attentive and gracious. Really enjoyed the goat cheese appetizer. The trio was good too. Bread is very good. Beef tenderloin kabob was excellent. I tried the Persian rice cake for the 1st time. It was good but mostly rice. It would be an ok side dish but lackluster, in my opinion, as an entree with a few mushrooms and a thin layer of flavor in the middle. It was good but should have more filling and even a chicken or beef add on option if entree size. The desserts were worth the calories and delicious cardamom ice cream and pomegranate cheese cake were both awesome. They were out of baklava. Would recommend and return here."
