"Steak made/served on NYE gave me food poisoning, was up from 2-10am with severe cramping and vomiting. I knew something was off as I was eating it. The food just didn’t taste right, especially the meat so I ended up throwing it away after a few bites. I even joked with my husband about it ? little did I know I’d spend the next 24 hours feeling like I’m dying. I almost went to hospital bc it was that bad, have not been able to hold anything down until the last hour. I know for a fact that it came from the chipotle as it’s the only thing I ate yesterday. Assuming it was the steak as my husband and stepdaughter got the same thing, but got chicken instead"

"I recently took a day trip to Plattsburgh and had a disappointing experience at Chipotle Mexican Grill. I ordered a bowl with chicken, which should have cost around $9 based on the menu. I paid with my Canadian MasterCard, but I didn't receive a receipt. When I sat down to enjoy my meal, I realized I was unsure about the price and the 15% tax rate in Quebec. I went back to the cashier to ask for my receipt. After looking through some printed receipts, he apologized and told me I had been overcharged. Remarkably, he recalled my order without asking for any details or my card number, despite it being a busy lunch time. While I understand that mistakes can happen, it's concerning that the cashier seemed to remember my order without proper verification. Charging me $11.50 for beef and an extra $2.50 for guacamole seems intentional and unacceptable. Is it because I'm a visual Asian with a Canadian credit card?"

"Last week, I placed two separate orders through the app for pickup at 2:40 PM on different days. Each time, I arrived at 2:50 PM on my way to work, and neither order was even started. Both times, they were running 10-15 minutes behind schedule. There were only one or two people working at the branch, so it didn't seem like they were overly busy. The person at the register simply apologized, but it felt insincere given the delays. This is unacceptable. They clearly have enough staff to manage online orders, yet the service was lacking. On top of that, the prices seem to increase weekly, and the portion sizes are disappointing. In the first picture, you can see another customer in gray sweatpants waiting just like I was—more than 10 minutes late for his order as well."

"Regular customer and always had fine service but when I went two days ago with my family , the front line person was horrible!! Didn?t welcome or greet us when we were next just started at us like if I was supposed to read him mind . Next I told him first part of the ordered and continue to look forward no eye contact and I ask him ? are you ready for us?? He just looked like ? duhhh? after he was done with us he kept looking around sighing and shaking his head at how much business was coming in and honestly did not like the service. He put no effort in anything expect for showing how bad he wanted to be there and how much he loved his job"

"This has to be the worst chipotle around. Portions are ridiculously small. I ordered a single and was not happy so decided to order a double and still had to ask for more. After that the portions were still smaller that what I have gotten as a single serving at other locations. On top of the extremely small portions on a couple of occasions items have been left out of the bag. After many sub par visits we have decided that we need to find a new restaurant for our weekly quick dining out experience. This chipotle is HORRRRIBLE"

"I don't understand why the employees at this restaurant are always so rude. I try to be simple and kind because I know what it's like to work in fast food, but it seems like they are just miserable. When there is only a small amount of product left in the pans, they still give it to me even if it's hardened and not enough. They never offer to add a little more from a new pan, even if the portion size is too small. Overall, I am very disappointed in the way this location is run. It seems like management is cutting corners to save on food costs."

"I can honestly say That I ate indoors there once and that was the First and Last time I will ever make that mistake The burrito I ordered fell apart after I got it Like I couldn't even take a bite and the whole thing busted and spilled out in my lap I mean it looked great when wrapped in the tortilla Would have looked better and tasted good. Had I been able to bite into it prior to the damn thing breaking because of poor quality, in which also I wasn't intending on wearing the stuff on my lap due to that happening However I decided to give that establishment one more chance I had this burrito bowl with Carnitas in it from there for take out Which is supposedly deep fried pork I could definitely tell it wasn't made correctly I got kind of sick honestly I couldn't tell what was wrong but it was **** as heck the meat I am referring too Was wondering if hand washing and proper sanitation Had been practiced Obviously not I can't eat there anymore And I love Mexican Food I can not risk getting some sort of food borne cross contamination in the event that something goes wrong out of someone's carelessness when deciding not to follow proper sanitation protocols"

"Ordered online. Sort of feels like it didn't matter how we customized our orders because they still made them as if they were with all the default choices. I ordered the new pollo-asado bowl (it looked good in the ad on the site), but what I got was a bowl that had just regular/plain chicken in it. No sauce on the chicken whatsoever. I didn't actually find the sauce until I had finished everything but the rice. Turns out, they put the sauce on all the rice at the bottom of the bowl. I know you're not expected to shake/mix up a bowl to get the flavors intermixed (there's supposed to be layers, right but I guess that would have been the only way to taste the sauce on anything other than the rice. Very disappointing."

"I recently had the pleasure of witnessing an extraordinary example of dedication and hard work at Chipotle, all thanks to a young man named Felipe. It’s not every day you come across someone who embodies such a remarkable work ethic. Felipe was a one-man army, effortlessly managing multiple tasks with a level of initiative that’s becoming increasingly rare. He didn’t need any directions to excel; he just did, with a natural flair for responsibility that left me thoroughly impressed.His commitment to his role went beyond mere duty; it was a display of passion and a genuine desire to excel. It’s employees like Felipe who transform a routine dining experience into something memorable. I sincerely hope that his efforts are recognized and rewarded appropriately because he truly deserves it. While the food at Chipotle was certainly up to par, it was Felipe’s exceptional service that compelled me to leave this five-star review. In an ideal world where I’m a HR manager, Felipe would be the first person I’d consider for a role that values talent, hard work, and dedication. Chipotle is lucky to have him, and I wish Felipe all the best in his future endeavors."

"After a long time, I finally decided to get Chipotle today. The sign on the door indicates that it opens at 10:45 AM, but when I arrived at 11:06 AM, the doors were still locked. I had to wait in line behind five other people. Once we were finally allowed in, the ordering process went smoothly. I got my meal and ran two blocks to my destination, eager to dig in. However, when I opened the bags, I was disappointed to find that the meat, rice, and beans were lukewarm—what happened to food safety protocols?! Additionally, the chips were stale. I'm really let down! I was expecting a hot, fresh, and crispy experience."

"The food service here is excellent. My go-to order is always the carnitas tacos, which are my absolute favorite for a quick and satisfying meal without splurging at a fancy restaurant. Occasionally, the tacos can be a bit messy; when I unwrap them at home, it can be disappointing to see that the salsa and sour cream have spilled out during the ride. However, this doesn't happen frequently and isn't a major issue. One thing to note about taking Chipotle home is that, by the time I get it back (whether I pick it up in-store or order online), the food is almost always lukewarm or cool, so I typically need to reheat it for a minute. I don't blame Chipotle for this, but it is a bit strange considering everything is wrapped in foil."

"I have placed a mobile app order (confirmation Y79-RA1) and it was set to pick up 8:50 pm. I arrived at 9:00 a.m. and came to the snake to order a burrito for my wife, the last minute said she wanted to lunch tomorrow. I thought my mobile job would wait for me after I paid for the extra job. to my surprise, my order was not ready on the rule around 9:10 clock, 20min after the original order pickup time. I was told that my order had to be restored because of a mistake. When I stood there, I saw 5 separate mobile app orders were completed before mine was mine. then when I came home, I am not even a quarter through the burrito before I noticed that there was absolutely doused in red tamatillo sauce when I asked for light and there was hardly any acidic seeing than the normal amount. I couldn't finish the burrito. very disappointed if I always have a great experience in this place. very disappointing experience tonight."

"This is a great Chipotle in a great location. This one has more seating compared to others in Midtown. For example, there's barstools along the windows a few tables, which is more space than the Bryant Park Broadway locations but less than you'll see in the suburbs. Staff is courteous I notice this location is less likely to run out of ingredients like guacamole, which tends to be the most frustrating aspect of trying to eat at a Chipotle in NYC. Half the time I visit a midtown location after work, they're out of guac or steak or white rice. It's never happened here, so either the staff is better able to predict the demand or simply more willing to cook extra ingredients"

"two bad experiences at this chipotle. they leave their online order option if the restaurant no longer online order. I waited for 30 min for an online order I had already paid for when it said it would be ready for picking up when I arrived. when I was there, there were no bowls, chips or pockets. I asked for double guac on the side and they put 2x guac in my burrito. At 20:30 a.m., the employees also said that they could not believe that they could get through the line, then we said 're closing around 9 a.m., no matter what, but not closed the door to keep the people waiting for ~30 minutes, although the workers were 't planning on the new people in the line. so note: the charging hours say they wouldn't close at 10 o'clock at 21 o'clock. I finally get the hot salsa each time. there was no quality control this time and it was completely nuclear. it was literally unpleasant to eat my burrito, who should be a bowl, but they will remember they had no bowls."

"I used to eat at this location at a weekly basis until I moved to Miami in 2017. Moving back this past year, the only thing that hasn't changed is the location. There is workers walking by me outside and in front of the door, and they don't mention it's online orders only, they act like I'm not even there, I actually thought they were closed at 7:00pm. The food does not taste like any location I have ever eaten at in the past 12 years. The chips tasted like unseasoned Doritos, the Guacamole tasted like frozen Avocado puree and lime juice, the chicken was dry and bland, the Queso was cold, unseasoned, gelled cheese dip. I think the worst offense was the Cilantro-lime Rice. It was cold, not seasoned enough, and it wasn't cooked right. The rice had too much water, it was like someone tried to make Mexican Risotto balls, but with no butter and no cheese. Between the Customer Service, the Food quality, and the Food consistency, I do not plan on eating at this location for awhile."
"The meat portions at this location have gotten rather small recently. It wasn't always this way, so it seems like something has changed—maybe it's due to new staff or a new policy. The Chipotle on Dublin Blvd provides a much better experience, so I suggest steering clear of the Chipotle on Amador Plaza; it doesn't feel like you're getting your money's worth. I've noticed many other similar complaints as well."

"For the first time, the servers were incredibly helpful and friendly. The three tacos were delicious—generously filled with plenty of rice, beans, steak, shredded beef, and pork. They also included tomatoes, peppers, salad, and a generous serving of well-mixed guacamole! It was a fantastic, delicious, and filling meal, all at a great price. Highly recommended!"

"Our youngest son ordered an apple martini, a 6 oz sirloin, house salad, and key lime pie. He found everything cooked to perfection, and the martini was excellent. My oldest son had the same meal minus the martini and also praised everything. My partner had the "Fontina chop" (prepared with fontina cheese, garlic, prosciutto, and mushroom Marsala wine sauce) and couldn’t stop raving about how good it was. While my sons enjoyed their steaks, mine was disappointingly tough and filled with gristle. We all shared the bang bang shrimp, a dish they’re apparently famous for, and everyone loved it—flavorful and more than enough for four men to start our meal. Our server, Christa, was excellent, providing detailed explanations about the dishes and recommending that we only order one order of the bang bang shrimp since portions were generous. The restaurant itself was quite noisy, which was another letdown, though that’s not the establishment’s fault. Our total bill before tip was $122.38, which I thought was reasonable. While I indicated that I wouldn’t return, I suspect my sons and partner would vote otherwise. I strongly recommend making reservations if you plan to visit."

"I drive all the way out to this Chipotle because it used to be the best one within a 50 mi radius.The quality is going down. The don't make food consistently, when you order 2 or 3 tacos, one is different from the next. I watched them scrape the bottom of the black bean barrel that was pretty much empty and looked very old to make me 3 tacos. 1/3 tacos had 3 beans on it. The chicken was extra salty, almost inedible today..I don't think I'll be driving out of my way to come back here any longer."
