"Maxwell's is the best restaurant in Redding. I've been to them all. This is a true statement. Great food, especially pizzas, wraps, and burgers. They are the premier deep fryer operators north of the equator. The deep fried jalapenos, pickle chips and artichoke hearts are art. Excellent beer selection and rotating taps that keep it interesting. They've started serving social cocktails. If you eat elsewhere you've made a mistake."
