"I waited nearly 20 minutes for a table even though there were plenty of open ones, and I was disheartened by the disrespectful behavior of some staff members. Having previously worked at Cafe Brazil in Addison, I understand how important it is to treat customers with respect, so it was shocking to witness what seemed to be a decline in service at this location. At one point, an employee actually shouted at me across the restaurant as I was walking to my table, and later I saw her laughing with coworkers about it.
The chai I ordered was disappointing as it tasted mostly like hot milk with a hint of cinnamon, and I had to get up to find to-go cups since there weren't any available at our table. The server who looked after us was helpful, and I have no complaints about them, although I did have to ask for silverware, which was somewhat frustrating. Also, the max slack was quite unsatisfactory, and the fries I ordered as an extra were burnt. Overall, my experience was far from enjoyable."
