"Despite the many mixed and poor reviews, I decided to give this place a try for my wife's birthday. I ordered a french toast style cake with maple frosting, along with an order of 6 oatmeal raisin cookies (her favorite). Upon picking up the food, the cake looked very well made and had a very pleasant odor of maple and cinnamon. After taking the first bite, may we just say, this was the best cake that we have had. The frosting was delicious, but not at all too sweet, which is an issue I have with most bakeries. The cake itself was plenty moist, but also hearty. The oatmeal raisin cookies were out of this world. Just the right amount of sweetness, and super soft. All in all, we will be back. Reading through the negative reviews, I do understand that sometimes a bad batch can make its way through and everyone's taste buds are different. For us, it is great to find such a great tasting bakery that is dairy free and gluten free. Neither of us have a gluten allergy, but we did notice that after eating a large amount of the sweets from here, we did not feel any kind of sluggishness that we have felt from eating sweets elsewhere. Keep it up guys!"
