"I would rate this place as a 3.5 stars. I might consider returning if the food tasted better. I ordered a cheeseburger, but was surprised to find that it only came with one bun, cheese, and a patty. It was served with a side of small pickles and coleslaw. I wasn't expecting any fancy sides like French fries, but I have never had a cheeseburger without lettuce, tomato, and pickles before at a restaurant. The iced coffee was decent, similar in taste to Dunkin' Donuts but cheaper at $3. Despite the name of the coffee shop, they didn't have any specialty coffee drinks, only regular brewed or iced coffee. There were some plastic pastries near the cash register. The restaurant has only 6 tables, so it is quite small, but not crowded."

"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was awful, and the food was mediocre at best. The cheese tasted stale, and the burger was overcooked. The servers didn’t seem to know much; when I asked if the veggie burger had a meaty texture, they replied that it was made with vegetables. In reality, it was a Boca Burger, which has a very meaty flavor. The raw onions and the overall presentation were really unappealing. If you choose to sit outside, be prepared for a lot of noise. This place used to be good, but it seems they've gotten so much business that they’ve become quite rude."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant was not crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"We have been to Clear Sky multiple times. One of the reasons for our return is the extensive menu. It is eaay to find something of your liking.We enjoyed the food the prior times and it is located near the hotel where we were staying. Once again, it was an enjoyable experience. We each started with a side salad which were a good size and made of fresh greens and other veggies. Orange vinigarette dressing was very good. We each got a fish entree, my husband had grouper and I had salmon. My salmon had a ginger soy glaze, giving it a nice added flavor. It came with asparagus and jasmine rice. The grouper was pan seared with spinach, small tomatoes and beurre blanc sauce. He stated it was flavorful. Our server was attentive and helpful with questions. My only critique would be of the slightly above average noise level, mostly due to the size of the indoor dining area and the live music outside, with door open.It was however, not enough of an issue to keep us from returning. I would recommend the rstaurant."

"I have been missing the food and atmosphere in Waikiki lately, and this place truly brought me back to the relaxing ocean breeze, comfort food, and tropical vibes of Hawaii! I had a lovely time here with my family, and we all loved the food, drinks, and service! Shoutout to Danielle for being such a wonderful server. FOOD Chicken lettuce wraps: These were a bit messy to eat but very good! The lettuce was very fresh and was a great way to start our meal. Papaya salad: We LOVED this dish!! The balance between the greens, papaya, lychee, and macadamia nuts was so delightful and refreshing. Hawaiian Mochiko chicken: The chicken was so tender and well seasoned! The veggies on the side were also great, and my grandma really enjoyed the healthy option. DRINKS Mermaid's Kiss: This drink was refreshing and strong! It wasn't super sweet, which was perfect. Painkiller: This drink was also pretty strong, and I really enjoyed it! Would highly recommend ordering both of these drinks. SERVICE The service here is amazing, and what I was most impressed by is that they knew we would be doing family style rather than having individual entrees. They brought out extra plates for us, no questions asked. It made me feel that the staff here are culturally competent and mindful, and I really appreciated that! Thank you for a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be back!"

"An older relative said to eat here after we heard we had a hotel nearby. I'm glad we came to breakfast. We were warmly welcomed by the family/owners (occupied) and a beautiful case of pastries. Our server was Edwin-professional friendly personal service. I had eggs Benedict, this is my way to travel (or biscuit/gray). I had either in almost every state. My balls Benedict were near the best I had. Maddie had the turkey omelette. You fill your dish with home potatoes that fulfill a lumberjack. A very diverse amount. Everyone seemed to enjoy the place and was not going in a hurry. Our food was great. The manager was also attentive without being intrusive. Well-run restaurant. Music played on the perfect level that is rare."

"My server returned shortly after to take my meal order. She paid great attention to my preferences and repeated my order back to ensure accuracy, which I appreciated. I ordered a half rack of baby back ribs with sauce on the side, a baked potato with butter and bacon bits (if they had them), and some coleslaw. To my delight, dinner arrived just 11 minutes after I ordered and matched my request perfectly! The food was fantastic! The ribs were cooked just right, easily sliding off the bone and bursting with delicious, charred flavor. The side sauce complemented them perfectly. The "bacon bits" on my baked potato were actually two thick strips of bacon—no complaints whatsoever! The coleslaw was tangy and creamy, exactly how I like it. Throughout my visit, the service was exceptionally attentive. I received frequent offers for water and tea refills, and various staff members checked in to ensure everything was satisfactory. I give them an A+ for customer attentiveness. The meal's price was quite reasonable for the quality and portion size I received, and I was glad to have chosen this place over a typical chain restaurant for dinner. It was my first time in Monrovia and my first dinner out in the area, and it certainly did not disappoint. Well done, Jake’s Roadhouse! I'll definitely be returning. "I had breakfast with a friend at a restaurant, and we had a pleasant experience. The waitress, who also handled the cashier duties, was very friendly, and the service was prompt. We both ordered eggs with toast and a side of fruit. While the portion of fruit was a bit small, it was delicious and much better than the home fries. The toast was just standard diner bread, and the rye variety was hardly distinguishable as such. On a positive note, the diner was clean and free from grease."

"I also enjoyed the plant-based 360 burger, just make sure to order it without the non-vegan sauce (like mayo) to keep it vegan. It’s delicious and is served with sweet potato fries and maple syrup, which makes for a fantastic combination. The falafel is excellent too; they simply don't add egg in the recipe, so it's vegan-friendly. However, this is based on my own experience, so double-check when you order. The owner is knowledgeable about vegan diets and supportive of them. The bakery often experiments with vegan options, and recently they had vegan jodlers, which were quite good. The atmosphere is fantastic—a really cool café as you can see from the photos. They also offer a hookah on request with different flavors when you sit outside. There's a gender-neutral restroom, which is great. The surrounding area is also pleasant for a stroll! Freehold Boro is historic and provides a charming backdrop for a lovely evening, especially on warm summer nights."

"The food, beverages and service were excellent, and our table in the back looked into the garden...too bad it was a little chilly to dine outside. The only drawback was the noise level as there does not appear to be any soft surfaces to reduce the noise. We were seated next to a table of 6 or 7 and they were having lively conversation with lots of laughs. Nice folks but we were not unhappy when they finished. Reina was a good value and we'll go again when we come back to Frederic."

"We went to Checkers for breakfast and we had an omelet made to order, pancakes, and a skillet. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We were all extremely satisfied with the food and the service, and we came back for lunch a few days later. We had a burger, another skillet and pancakes, an apple French toast, and a Nutella crepe. Everything was again beyond our expectations. The place is super clean and very kid friendly. We are going to be regulars."

"We had the best experience ever with our server. We had a couple bottles of champagne and enjoyed the views of the sunset. I do just want to say there was a super rude gentleman up on the rooftop while we were there, and the host is handled it beautifully she should not have been disrespected like that, but I really appreciate the hosts professionalism in that situation.
