"My first experience at this restaurant was quite interesting. We ordered the chicken kabab platter with fries and the jerk chicken platter with rice and peas. The chicken kabab did not meet our expectations as it was just chopped chicken in a container with pita and frozen fries. Authentic kababs should be skewered and grilled, which this dish was not. The rice and peas, a Caribbean staple, were just okay. The jerk chicken had flavor but lacked the spiciness one would expect from an authentic jerk chicken dish. The steamed vegetables were bland. Despite seeing mixed reviews, I am unsure if the owners find them beneficial. As a Mediterranean restaurant, it was disappointing to not see Baklava on the menu, which is a popular Mediterranean dessert. My Turkish friend would be upset about this oversight. I would rate this restaurant a 2 out of 5. My advice would be to focus on either perfecting Caribbean or Mediterranean cuisine, rather than trying to do both. Service was decent, and the atmosphere was nice. Price per person was $10-20 for lunch."
