"Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience. Was excited because it is an older establishment with some history which I love. However, just because you’re an older, established restaurant doesn’t mean you should allow so much deferred maintenance. I ordered fries, they had run out, so I ordered a side salad, they were out of that also so I ordered fruit which turned out to be basically just melon which I don’t like. My BLT was fine but nothing amazing. I used the restroom and it was the dirtiest restroom ever; the lid to the tank was missing, the sink appeared to be leaking so the floor was wet and dirty, I almost fell off the seat because it was so loose; just gross. It made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen if this is what the bathroom looks like. Old doesn’t have to be dirty. While we were eating they started to prep for closing by loudly dragging tables past us, carrying chairs on their shoulders over our table and I almost got hit in the head with a broom handle while they emptied the dustpan in the trash that was next to my chair. We did arrive 30 minutes before closing but, in my opinion, that kind of cleaning should wait until your last customer leaves. I felt rushed, annoyed and dissatisfied."
