"The second star is for two employees who were helpful and nice during previous visits, but unfortunately, they weren't working on the days I faced these issues. After giving it a few weeks, I decided to try again, only to experience the same problem: hair in my sandwich. The first time, it was a long, dark hair that I pulled out. Last Wednesday, when I ordered a sandwich and a drink, I noticed some red flags right away. The soda I received had several black and brown particles floating in it from the ice maker. I tried a few rounds of ice but couldn’t find a clean cup, so I gave up.
Please clean your ice machine! Additionally, I noticed dark brown hair on the lid stack! My trust in my lunch was quickly fading. When I opened my sandwich, I was horrified to find hair in it again. I showed an employee and took the sandwich to the counter to show another staff member. I asked for a refund, which I received, but they also offered me a treat from the bakery case, which felt insufficient at this point; I just wanted my lunch.
One of the girls casually laughed it off, suggesting it might have come from her since she has cats. Shouldn't employees in food service wear appropriate attire? Both staff members were not wearing aprons, which is concerning. As someone who works in the food industry, I know these basics: tie back your hair, avoid baggy clothing that can catch on things in the kitchen, and proper attire is crucial.
I got the impression that there was no manager present to address these issues, and unfortunately, I will need to find a new place for lunch. This is simply unacceptable, and it's a shame because I was looking forward to returning."
