"Furthermore, it took nearly a week for her to ship our order, despite our repeated calls for updates. When the food finally arrived, it was poorly packaged; there was no bubble wrap, plastic wrap, or sealing, resulting in significant damage to the items. We had paid a $100 deposit toward our $165 order, along with an additional $125 for shipping.
When we contacted her about the damaged food, she showed no remorse. We even asked if she could refund us the amount the USPS provided her, as they failed to deliver on the promised overnight shipping, but she flatly refused. I've seen other restaurants compensate customers in such situations, especially when food is poorly packaged for long-distance shipping. The owner of this establishment was incredibly unprofessional.
Had I known what a nightmare this entire experience would be, I would have never placed an order. In total, she still owes us the remaining balance, and to make matters worse, she has blocked both my husband's and my phone numbers. If I could give her business zero stars, I absolutely would. After two weeks of trying to communicate with her without success, I can confidently say that her handling of this situation was completely unprofessional."
