"Now, onto the drinks and food! My daughter ordered the Strawberry Shakedown, and while it looked appealing in the advertisement on the table, it unfortunately didn’t deliver. It wasn't refreshing or worth the $10 price tag, and the alcohol was barely noticeable. It had a more bitter taste overall.
We also tried the Funky Q Chicken pizza, and that was absolutely delicious! It felt like having BBQ on a pizza, and I was genuinely surprised by how good it was. The Holy Shiitake Pie was another standout; it had a great mix of ingredients. However, I found the garlic aioli didn’t add much to the dish—it tasted more like plain mayo to me. Aside from that, it was really tasty.
Lastly, we ordered the Veggie Calzone, which came with marinara sauce that I found to be the worst I've ever had. It had a very distinct flavor, and I even asked my daughter to try it to see if it was just me. She felt the same way! Thankfully, the calzone itself was delightful enough to stand on its own. The combination of cheeses with the vegetables was perfect, and it had a wonderful stretchiness to it.
Would I return to this restaurant? Absolutely, but I’d prefer to get takeout next time."
