"This pub style restaurant recently reopened with a new chef and menu. We visited this weekend and were disappointed with the entire experience. We each ordered a different specialty burger cooked medium, one with fries and one with roasted winter root vegetables. The burgers were correct on the interior temperature but the outside had a very heavy char and gave the meat a heavily burned flavor. The entire meal was served lukewarm. Some of the vegetables were undercooked and the lukewarm fries were soft and mushy. Our server seemed new and confused. Our drinks order was one Woodford Reserve requested neat and one Bombay Sapphire and tonic specified in a short glass. The first G&T arrived in a short glass without garnish. The second G&T arrived in a tumbler style collins glass with a lime garnish. When the waiter was questioned about the glass he replied that it 's the same thing . No, its not, and the drink was promptly returned and removed from our check. Oddly enough, a Neat Charge of $1.50 was added to our check for the Woodford Reserve. Perhaps Brazenhead should stick to serving beer. Its a shame this place can 't seem to get it right. The location is good, the parking is ample, and it has a cozy pub interior which could be quite inviting on a cold winter evening. We, however, will not be back."
