"I made reservations through open table on to surprise the qife and visiting family. After receiving the confirmation reallized I better edit the reservation to give everyone another minutes. After receiving the confirmation attempted to call and check parking. Each time I called I received answering machine message saying you couldn't leave a message. We drove into the city to find out they were closed. We immediately drive to Bollywood up the street and had a fabulous meal. I see no reason to give Passage to India a second chance"

"Went for an impromptu early dinner. What a treat. Had beef samosas and a basket of assorted Indian breads as appetizers. Delicious. Continued with Fish Vindaloo Chicken Chilli Masala (requested both at medium spicy levels). Both dishes were excellent in my opinion, and I'm comparing to similar meals I have had in India. The accompanying rice was good, though small bowl frankly for two people. Continued with pistachio ice cream and a very, very, delicious rice pudding, which was not only refreshing but had a most subtle essence of cardamom. We will return soon and have recommended it to friends already."

"This place is one of my favorite places for Indian cuisine! Five stars on every aspect! Food quality is excellent and the portions are very generous! The prices are very fair for what you get, and there is still an article on the menu to try that is disappointed. This place is perfect for a date night, family night or even solo going. The restaurant is very nicely furnished with a beautiful dimming lighting. Very good together with relaxing vibes. Looking for a cocktail or beer? This is the place! The bartender can repair you a delicious drink or if you are a beer type, I recommend the Taj Mahal. Many parking and staff are very friendly! One last thing if you know someone who is all hard and can treat crazy wicy, they have a sharp challenge. I personally didn't try it because I usually very spicy my food (which is not the spiciest option) and you better believe Im?. I know my borders, so I don't think I'll try the challenge at any time soon, just thought I should share this little information."

"Hard to fond a place like this anywhere in NW Wis. Mostly what you find is basic bar food. Not so here. Casual but great food for a dining experience. White linen table cloths and napkins. "This place has amazing food! I 've come here many times and have never had a bad experience. The meals are made fresh and many dishes can even be tweaked for people who have allergies and even for those with a vegan diet. The people who work there are very nice and they care about the food they serve. They don 't mind to answer any questions you may have about the food. "This was my first and last time going to this restaurant! I only ended up here because the nearby restaurant was closed. The restaurant itself was very clean, but unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the food and service. I ordered two dishes for takeout - the special lamb curry and classic chicken curry. To my disappointment, both dishes came without any rice or bread, just the curry. The prices I paid were high for what I received, I could have gotten complete plates at any other nearby restaurants. The quality of the food was mediocre at best. The service was also subpar, as the person taking my order had difficulty speaking English and even kept my credit card until I asked for it back on my way out. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"great Indian food! finally in this area. when they discuss about going to taste of india, do it! price comorable for every nowa indian restaurant, but much better portion. they also gave us free papageia, chutney and Indian tweeper pickle with our extradition order. and they actually heard when I said to make it as hot as possible! not painful, but definitiw the first time in over a year that a nowa Indian place actually delivered spice-wise. for those who have visited the Indian ozean, but looking for a closer option, they will not now dissapointed to the actual dishes we have. The restaurant was around 80% full, with a few tables still needing cleaning. The staff was very friendly, but it seemed they were a bit short-staffed for the number of guests present. The food was delicious, although it did take a bit longer than anticipated to arrive—about 15 minutes after we ordered. Overall, I found the prices to be reasonable."

"This restaurant has been voted the best Indian restaurant several times. They have separate menu sections for vegan and vegetarian dishes, offering a variety of appetizers and main courses that are both vegan and gluten-free. The waitstaff is very accommodating regarding food restrictions. When you sit down, they serve you crackers with three sauces, although it's important to note that the green sauce contains milk. "We recently ordered, take from Royal India Bistro, and the mango ice we had ordered was not in the pocket when we came home. We thought it was not a big deal and simply called to remove it from our bill, but they offered us to deliver it to us, even though we were outside their delivery area! Someone showed up with the mango ice cream, just like we finished our dinner, and it was delicious (like the rest of the food was! We will definitely be back for more of their amazing food and fantastic customer service!"

"We went dinner on Father's Day. We were enjoying our meal when one of the staff members started sweeping the floor right next to our table. It was kind of awkward. Additionally when we got our check the man delivering the check kept on standing right behind the person paying for the meal and even asked what their name meant. We are unsure whether not he was trying to make small talk or make sure if we were paying a tip."

"I was looking for Google reviews a few days ago. I enjoyed this place very much. from the moment I came in, I was very impressed by the beautiful ambiente (very rare to see in an Indian restaurant, friendly waiting staff and the appealing classical music that played in the background. I ordered saag (spinch curry, malai paneer (growing cheese, tandoori roti (brot and salat.) the eating was mouthwater and the amount was also good. I had dessert the classic Indian, gulab jamun, who was just melted in my mouth. I welcome writing this review. if in portland and if they like Indian food, this place is a must to visit. "The staff did not have a plan to accommodate parties with reservations and had many people wait at the door for over an hour.The meal service took another to receive the food after ordering.Almost had to take our glasses to the bar for more water.They should add more waiters in order to offset these situations"
